soothing / calming effect

I'm not one to get my feathers ruffled but seeing a news clip recently made me get angry. I found myself absentmindedly massaging my boobs and just then I noticed I was relaxing at the same time my anger was subsiding. 

The calming effect of massaging my boobs was a revelation to me, and now I'll massage them to sorta zone out / relax before going to sleep. 

Is this common or am I uncommonly lucky?
