surprisingly, mr. fizzy recommends going to india and getting the surgery done, but doesnot disclose the surgeon's name. never heard of such a privacy policy. how could anyone possible go t india to get surgery if we dont know who to go for? at least an idea wud be good .

honestly, im kinda upset, since this guy SRK has been asking everyone abt a good surgeon in india, and we have this guy fizzy on the board who refuses to help.

never mind, its his business..

sorry if i hurt anyone. didnt mean to . im just tryin to help.

Brownman, one canadian dollar is about 38 indian rupees. So 50,000 rupees is about 1300 canadian dollars. One lakh is 100,000 rupees so 100,000 rupees is about 2600 canadian dollars.

Just so you know, i have mine done on Wednesday in India. Had all the tests done (first class better than bupa apart from the paperwork!) and my Doctors name is Mohan Thomas. I will post photos once it is done though i should be paying around 85,000 rupees which is just over 1,100 pounds. All with an american plastic surgen (he was born in indian though moved to the states years ago and now moved back to look after his parents list most indians do). He is not the cheapest though i thought as he worked in the states he should do a first class job.

i beleive mohan thomas only does lipo. pls make sure my frnd. ask him what procedure he does. being from the states is not a qualification enuf for gyne. lipo is easier and probably any good plastic surgeon can do a good job. excision is what i would recommend.

Sorry about the late responce been really busy as i have had the op!

Mohan in based in bombay though he does work in Goa 2 days a week. As i have a house in Goa i got it done here. He did the lipo (cannot remember what it is called though it only leaves a very small scar like a pin hole), we stated (well dr james who works with him) that they have removed the gland (which i think he means gyne) and the fat. He removed 1L per side, my chest is flatter though not fully flat though i can now notice it.

As my breasts have now gone hard he said this is excess fluid and bruising and that i need to massage them to remove the swelling.

Is this normal? please note i had the surgery on the 1st of March.

Anyway the main thing is that my puffy nipples have now gone and i can wear a t shirt without being bothered though i can only wear some shirts due to the fitment of the pressure vest.

Hi Srk,
I am from India (chennai)..We do have some great hospitals and Doctors in India. But my personal suggestion would be dont get your surgery done in Kolkata. You can get it done in Chennai or Banagalore or Mumbai.Kolkata has some freaky doctors.I was born in kolkata and there have been really bad cases with some top most doctors in Kol..(im talkin abt general things not gyne)
Even I have Gyne and I am going to practise Some workouts by an instructor in Kolkata. He has challenegd me that the Gyne will go away.He has treated many people it seems. So I am first trying out that if things dont improve then I will get my surgery done either in Apollo hospital or Life line hospital. The cost is around Rs.40,000 inclusive of hospital bills etc.
I was desperately searching for guys from India in this forum atlast I can see you.! Good yaar! hope we can help each other.

I went with Doc Thomas as he mainly worked in the states and being a big lad myself i thought it was better to use someone who is used to working on bigger people though i am now working off my weight slowly.

I know the price alters all over india though as long as my surgery turns out ok i am happy... :p

  • I wish.....damn Gyne
I have contacted Dr.Manoj Khanna thru phone.
He has agreed to do the surgery at a price of
17000/-INR.(Local Anasthesia)
and 35000/-INR (General)
His clinic is in Kolkata.
I havent met him personally, but he sounds pretty sure of the procedure.
Maybe I'd wait for a few more posts to show up on this topic.
