Hi Guys,

Ive been browsing the forum for a week or so, and now im plucked up the courage to join.

Im seriously considering surgery in Poland, however like most people, Im thinking of doing it fairly discretly, without telling anyone, to avoid the hoo ha of the operation

Just one thing which has not been covered on this forum is the cost of the taxi from Berlin to Sublice? what sort of price am I looking at to pay?
what do you guys do, go to a taxi driver on the street and say u wanna go to sublice (Poland) or do you go to a named taxi office?

Also i know its a long shot but has anyone tried the public transport route to Poland?

Any replies would be welcome.. :)

Hello I'm planning on going to Poland for opertaion hopefully this year.

My question is...............

I have sticky out ears that are quite large which have always bothered me since I was a child, my parents did not think I should have them done when I was young (when it would ahve been free on nhs).

If I go to Poland would I be able to get the gyne op and my ears sorted out?

Just Im thinking it will be much cheaper, save two trips and I wont have to worry about having 2 recovery periods.

Any advice or info appreciated, I would contact the dr but I'm not in a position to pay for anything or arrange anything as of yet.

Great thread by the way! It has inspired me (a person who does not have £4k and gave me hope).

Good luck to everyone going/healing at the minute (i'm jealous). ::)

Hi, Yes there is a procedure for ears listed on the website

http://www.esculap-service.de/english/plasticsurgery/plastic%20surgery%20procedures.htm

visit their page to see the procedures and to know if they will perform 2 procedures at a time, try to contact Andreas Ciesla at his email address esculap@web.de as he is the person who arranges all these surgery dates etc for the patients from outside Poland.

Cheers !

hi scott
please dont sit around waiting for an email from andreas.
Ring him up and talk to the guy :)
he booked me in on my 1st call that lasted me about 2 mins
im booked in for 24 October and im travelling alone due to being let down by my family.
I feel pretty gutted and i feel a bit depressed and scared all rolled into one.
I feel this is something ive got to do fopr myself and feel that i shouldnt expect my family to trapes along to Poland with me.
Deep down inside though i feel empty.
But also i feel excited and happy and soon i will be rid of this stupid condition and this stupid username.

  • I've had my final operation :)
Hello Guys,

I must one again apologise for my lack of correspondence. I hope you are all healing well, and those of you who are still waiting it goes quickly  .

As you know I am quite busy with work at the moment so i don’t get on line that often, but I want you all to know if you want any advice or have any queries you can email me (just ask for it).

Gyne22 : You wrote that you have read through this thread and seen nothing regarding the taxi arrangements. I think you need to go back and look again…lol. You have missed the funniest part of the Thread. The Polish taxi driver is a one off…..the guy is unreal and sings wham and the hoff all the way back to Poland. The car is a shed and your heart is in your mouth for the whole journey…..but definitely worth it just for the experience….lol .

I see that a few of you have noticed his prices are creeping up…..well , you know what to do , you gave him the custom ….you can sharp take it away. I researched many clinics and as you know this one wasn’t my first choice….( still a very good clinic though) …the one I originally wanted was in Wroclaw and there was no flights….but now you can go direct from East Midlands….all it needs is one brave guinea pig….lol . Remember , the reason we are going abroad is to save money , so don’t put up with it if it goes to high…..a small increase is ok…..but if you think it becomes unreasonable…just walk….lol

Ok Guys, need to dash ….:P

Hi guys, i'm still here. Check in nearly every day but just being silent.

Update, but your all not going to like it. 4months i have no pain or problems but the results are pants. I only had excission as per surgeon recommendation as he said i had large glands(which i did). But i'm no smaller than i was, well maybe a small amount but not that i can tell.

I can still feel a hard lump under the nipple but they aren't as big as before but the mass of my chest hasn't reduced and i am so annoyed i didn't have lipo but when he talked about saggy skin and maybe the need to remove it, it got me worried and i settled for his suggestion.

I don't know yet what to do, if i should contact them and go back for a revision or cut my losses now and try elsewhere, i do feel like i wasted my time as i am still the same as when i started except for scars around my nipples ::)

Hi Jon, I have lost over a stone since the surgery and i wasn't really overweight then. If i could even say i'm not a little happy after the surgery then atleast i would know the next step would be another improvement but i am no different to i was before and i just don't get how he can take out a large gland, as he says, and my size not reduce  ???

End of next month is 6months i will email them with my concerns and then make my decision to if i go back or not.
