I have taken the plunge and decided to make an appointment with my Dr concerning my gyne.  I’m rather worried and anxious about the whole thing.  I have been to him a few times about other matters and he is very nice and down to earth so that’s nothing to be concerned about.

Just worried about having to take my top off in front of him.  I haven’t done so in front of anyone, well for as long as I can remember.

My main question is:  Do you think he will know of the condition ‘gynecomastia’?  I’m sure he has seen boys/men with similar problems, but if I actually say gynecomastia, what do you think are the chances of him knowing the name?  Obviously you cant answer that, but what have all your experiences been with your doctors?  My biggest fear is he will turn round and say dont be silly.
