does it hurt when a drain is removed? and after they remove it will they need to stitch me up again?

Yes they hurt to be removed. Its not terrible though.

You probably won't get stitches again. I just got bandaids.

I just had a drain removed today.  It hurts like hell, but only for a couple seconds as they're taking out the drain - after that it wasn't bad at all.  My doc just put a gauze pad over it without using any more stitches.
