Having a night out - Will a big plaster work?

I'm having a night out - fisrt one in ages, and I'm worrying about how I will look in a shirt.  I'm thinking of getting some long plaster and trying to flatten my chest out a bit.

Will this work?  I'm worried about it coming off with a big 'kreeesh' sound and me running home crying
