I'm just curious, but did he remove all of the gland behind the nipple or did he leave a small portion each surgery just to prevent the nipple from concaving? Cause if any gland is left it can come back over and over.

All i was told is that they would remove the hard tissue, there was no mention of glands. When the surgeon said there was a chance the hard tissue could appear again i couldnt beleive it.at the mo this new lump is quite small and if it stays this size i wont bother having another op.its just that the previous ones have always grown in size.anyway its not the end of the world and the operation is painless.i was in and out of hospital the same day so im not worrying about it anymore :-)
