yes he did go through the same incisions,i asked him before if it will effect the healing of the incision and he said no.I had mentioned to him to remove any  gland not just lipo because i did not want to be left with pointy nipples. The main reason for the revision was to correct the crease in the right side,he said that he was going to first remove more fat under the crease as well as half of the upper chest then he was going to seperate the strands of sar that has attached itself to the chest causing the crease then after all that he was going to do fat grafts with the fat that he removed and apply it to the crease anyways that was the game plan don't know exactly what he did till i see him also tomorrow. On the left he was to do more lipo and excision. He did warn me that the right will not look as good as the left but he will try his best for it to.

Went to Dr. Lista today out of concerns for my results 4 months post op.  My left side is noticeably bigger than my right. He was very sympathetic to my depression over this, and wants to correct it for me.  I was very impressed with him and grateful he saw what I see.  I am scheduled for early April.  I can't wait.

Hey i also saw lista today he looked very busy maybe i ran into you what time were?
If i have learned anything about lista is that he is a dr that cares and listens to his patients every concern.

i was there for 1 pm.  i was in by 1, and gone by 1;15 pm i think.  ya he really does care what his patients think.  he was busy, but he didnt rush me or make me feel like he had to go check out all the tarts boob jobs....if i were him, thats where id spend all my time haha.  he was genuinely concerned about my appearance.  i cant wait...i felt so much better just driving away knowing its going to be fixed.  what a relief...

1st day post op revision

this time around is alot easier, not as much pain or discomfort alot more mobile no bruising just swallon.I could probaly go back to work but i won't risk it.He did more lipo on the side with the crease to minimize the depth of the crease he also seperated the strands of scar that attached to the skin pulling the skin in and injected fat in the crease area.the crease at this point is 95% better the size of my right chest i was happy with so he did not have to remove much.On the left side that has always been larger he did remove more gland and fat.At this point it's hard to tell what the final result is gong to be because i am still swallon.I can say that they are now both the same size swallon. The first op i was wearing a small compression vest, this time around they gave me a medium even though i am skinner now than before, the reason for this is that he did want to much compression because of the fat grafts, but the medium feels alot more comfortable.Pete log onto the makemeheal.com website and see if they sell an xs.I also ordered from them a second stage vest that is like a tank top for when i go back to work, remember nobody nows about my surgery so i need to keep it that way.

2 day post op revision

I took my first shower this morning after doing some grocery shopping and i'm amazed at the mobility i have this time compared to the last time.I can shampoo my hair no problem and raise my arms over my head with ease but i haven't tryed to fully extend them don't want to push it.T he biggest issue right now i have is sleeping on my back again, only can sleep 2.5 hours at a time till my back gets sore.I had a good look at my chest and the crease is hardly noticeable at this stage if it stays like this i will be happy .My left side is a little better, but i'm not going to pass judgement on my results because i am swallon so i'll wait 3 months or so ,oh yea it looks like he did another incision on the right side to help work with the crease but it is very small.

Pete,my advice is that the day of your op don't bring your vest in unless they tell you to,i never did.I ordered a second stage vest,it looks like what we have but it does not have any velcro or zipper and snaps it's like a tank top.R emember i need to hid this from all my buddies and family so i think this vest wil help.As far a pictures go i do have them i'm keeping them on file but will post when i acheive my final results.

Braveboy congratulations on the post surgery.  I'm glad the crease is filled in now.  Do you have to go through all the bruising, massaging, etc that you did the first time around?  Pete, when is Lista gonna do you next op?  Will it be less healing time involved this time?  I guess you didn't ask about incision healing time since he'll be going through them again.  Did you tell him you slowed the massaging down?

Hey Marx.  You know what, I was so relieved when Dr. Lista said he'd do the revision for me that I didn't even think to ask any other secondary post op questions, other than 'when'.  Braveboy can probably answer that one...but I would think we'll have to go through the same process all over again. It sounds like the post op second time around isn't so dramatic though according to braveboy.

Ya all the work I'd been putting into these scars is over with...He told me to stop (obviously) using the silicone sheets, as he'll be going through the same holes.

My revision is early april.  I did not talk to him about massaging, as the majority if not the entire visit was dealing with my less than ideal results so far.  He was great, and I really have to say again how cool Dr. Lista was for the way he acknowledged my concerns and said he wants me to be happy.

My chest scar/tissue matter was and still is sore in some areas,  and I stopped massaging for the second time (about 3 days prior to my visit with him) because it seemed to be aggravated by the massage.  But sorry, I didn't ask about sporadic or every third day massaging.

Hows yours going then?

3rd day post op revision

Last night was a good night as far as sleeping goes,i slept 6 hours straight and slept on my side when i needed to.I was looking at my chest today still very swallon and i notice a bit of a yellowish colour on some areas of my chest i know this is normal.I felt so good today that i went out and treated my wife and kids to breakfeast.Definately recover is alot easier this time around but just because it's like that for me it doesn't mean it will be the same for someone else,i guess it depends on the amount of work that is to be done.At this stage the dr told me no messaging or phisical actvity till he sees me in 2 weeks.I'm concerned with the little amount of pain and bruising that i have that maybe he did not take enough out,i better leave before i start to over anylise my results.

haha stop worrying...i know i would too, but its easier to sit here and read yours...im sure the SECOND surgery will correct all...

did you mention to lista that you bought this 100 dollar stage 2 vest???  why all of a sudden do i see all this talk about stage 2 etc??  so this vest is TIGHTER than our compression vest lista gave us?

i'd actually like something tighter, something that compresses more and gives me the best opportunity to heal up TIGHT...

whatever info you''ve learned etc re the stage 2 is good for me, thanks.

Hey Pete didn't have any talk with the dr regards to compression vest other than why this time around why he gave me a med instead of a small like the first post surgery. My case is a little different than yours i'm not supossed to have tight compression because of the fat grafts. The only reason i'm buyng a med 2nd stage vest is priminary for the issue of hiddihg the fact that i'm wearing a garment of any sort or that i had surgery.I'm buying a med as the first surgery i was wearing a smal vest.My opinion is that if your comfortable with the vest Lista gives you and you have no concerns with people possibily knowing you had surgery and the zipper and clasps don't bother you why spend the extra $$.Iknow with me the first time around the vest was tight enough and anything tighter would of been untolable. If i rember you were having issues with the first vest they gave you so be sure that you really want extra compression, remember you still need blood to circulate.

i do remember the first time, and it was tight, but it was because i had the shoulder velcro's too tight, and it hurt under my armpits there.  and the small was tight on my stomach too, but ive since lost 8 lbs.  the small also was i recall snug, but not tight on my chest.  so im thinking ill get my mother inlaw to make the chest portion of the size small a bit more tight, and just go with that i guess...the only problem i foresee with my surgery is the fact that its in early april (spring weather) as opposed to our first surgery being in october...a lot more convenient in fall than spring.

for that reason im still contemplating the underwords tank top thing...
