Ever get the feeling, you stop to catch your breath and by the time you look up again the world has passed you by?

I've been away (literally) for a week and there's been a gazillion posts on the forum since I last looked! Gonna take me a while to catch up!

I felt like that for years! Now that retirement has finally happened for me, I have to admit I do often think about those left behind who feel the same as that, but it does happen eventually. You'll get there TTA, just hang in there.

Retirement wasn't a case of instant freedom/partying/holidays for me though. Life, and what it throws in our way, still has to be dealt with. And I've had to do that without the (sometimes) welcome distraction of work. I don't miss the 4:55am alarm though!

Today was my first day working at Torrid!!!!
I'll be working again every Saturday as well.

Spent my time 'fixing' the clearance racks, they do get unorganised. 😬

I love it! 💞💞💋

I get to look at all the nice styles while working. 💃💞

(I'm kind of working there, I'm volunteering but it's fun!). 💞
The manager said to straighten out the displays and keep things neat and organized. They don't allow 'volunteers', but I can be a 'shopper' helping out. 💞💋💞

Hanging out with the girls is really fun.

This is great! Especially if a guy has to shop for himself and you can truly help him out and make him feel comfortable and reassure him that it is normal. Not saying the ladies at the torrid I went to weren't great to me, but you will have a different level of understanding
