The American political arena in this country is out of control. The Democrats hatred for Trump is beyond ridiculous to me. Political differences are what makes democracy work but I feel modern politics has gone to far.

There's certainly no free speech in Russia! Trump has had a go at nearly everyone nation but can't say a bad word against the war criminal Putin.  Why?  His treatment of Ukraine is also cruel and inhuman.  Where has the shining city on the hill gone? The civilised world is bewildered.

In an interview my favorite President, Ronald Reagan, was asked if there was anything he would have done differently while President. He stated that he wished he would have shrunk government more than he did. It is a massive Beast that needed more trimming.

The government back then was nothing compared to the massive spending black hole that we have had in the last couple decades. Our trillions of dollars in debt creating interest payments that we can't even afford. We have been in route to a devaluation of the dollar for quite some time.

I am no great fan of Donald Trump, but I did vote for him. I basically had "no choice" because our economic Horizon did not look very good at all with the other party.
I personally think that government needs to stay out of our living rooms and out of my back pocket. And staying out of our living rooms includes the new extreme right Republican Party.

They are quickly passing new laws that affect me horribly, and you have to take the good with the bad. Declaring there are only two genders when I know I have both a uterus and testicles? so just where do I fit in? In my opinion that's not any of government's business.

I do however understand that this is pushback after the Extreme left cramming things down everyone's throats. Again that was government overreach.
Hiring quotas were tried during the civil Rights Movement, and were quickly abandoned because they didn't work. After the dust settled, simply imposing anti-discrimination laws were what were settled on. I'll never understand why we went back to hiring quotas. History started repeating itself as quotas started being imposed on government positions and contracts regardless of qualifications. Anti-discrimination laws would have been plenty.

We have four years and possibly eight to see where things end up. And hopefully we can go back to a moderate understanding of government and start agreeing on things.

I agree Justagirl, I voted for Trump because I agree the government is to large and intrusive. I hope he downsizes a lot and gets government out of our personal lives. Yes, that will have some downsides but freedom from oppression is what our country was created for.

Wow, over the last couple of years my hormones have been going crazy. Seeing your personality tests made me go take 3 of the tests. All 3 came back as predominantly female leaning. I wonder how my emotional and physical future will unfold with all these hormonal changes .
