Well, even though I said I wouldn't look till 1 week in and having to take pics for Mr Levick I was getting paranoid the binder wasn't tight enough again so had another go at tightening it up and had a look at the same time.
So far there is a lot of bruising mainly yellowy green but under right side big section of dark purple.  Also on that side there is lots of what im guessing is fluid build up, its very squidgy.  That's the side that's hurting the most as well.
Even though my chest looks like a warzone compared to everyone elses 1 week photo I'm not going to get worried just yet.  Unless on wednesday Mr Levick says uh oh. :)

I was surprised at how little bruising I have . Been having double the arnica and litres of pineapple juice along with half a gram of vit c per day

Ah I've just been having the recommended amount of arnica and only a glass of pineapple juice a day.   Your results so far look to me a lot better than mine but Mr levick did say to me patience is the key due to the amount that was taken out so fingers crossed mine is all normal and I haven't cocked up somewhere :)

How's your cuts under your arms doing?  Both mine have raised right up so are quite lumpy.  Think this might have been cus they both seem to constantly get attached to the gauze.  Not sure when I'm supposed to stop putting gauze over those cuts either.  Were you told?

I was very uncomfortable with the padding/gauze under my pits but I asked the nurse during discharge and she said I could remove it as soon as there was no bleeding. I removed the day after surgery and was instantly in more comfort

I think I'm more swollen today and I'm definitely a lot more sore.

Well its one week in since getting mine sorted.  Dont seem to be advancing from the kidney pain so am assuming I will just have to bare that until the time I can ditch off the binder.
Not looking forward to my shower today as touching all the wierd fluidy wobbly bits feels really wierd :)
I am quite pleased I never took any Codeine though and have stuck to Paracetamol.  (Last time I had surgery i was put on tramadol and that really made me feel terrible so was very paranoid about stronger pain killers).
I have dark purple bruises on both sides now so am happy that's just how its meant to be.  Hopefully after I send my 7 day photos to Mr Levick he wont say the fluid build up isnt good.  That would be a bit of a bummer.

Right behind ya.
Am I right in saying that you can just wear the compression best now from 7 days on?

Ive just emailed Mr Levick with my photos and asked him is it the binder for another week (or maybe further for me)
I think he said the binder is 2 weeks.
Here's a before and after photo.  As you can see my chest was a monster!! and I'm not in shape like most of the lads on here but I have lost 3 stone so I'm heading in the right direction :)
You can sort of see the fluidy bulging bit on my right side on the photo.  Ive asked Mr Levick if that is nothing to worry about.

edit looks like I cant upload the photo at the moment, will try later.

Type picture resize on google then go on a site and one of the last options is to make it less than 128mb
It's a nightmare really which is why pictures are a bit scarce on this site

It was coming up with some wierd write to folder error but looks like its working now.

Mr Levick said I am to try the vest with the binder over the top now.  He said its looking good apart from the bruise and swelling on the right side.

Im not liking the giggly feeling of the fluid areas moving with the vest +binder on. That didnt seem to happen with just the binder on.
Hopefully I'm still getting the same amount of compression.
