To lose some weight, cut out white starches, i.e white bread and pasta, cut out sweets and junk food, ease off on the booze and exercise as much as you can. eat loads of fruit and veg. You don't have to feel hungry to lose weight, also if you are really strict with what your eating- and i mean really strict- then have one cheat day a week where you have a few beers, maybe a bacon sarnie or a fry up just don't pig out lol. Cheat days give you something to look forward to especially if your like me and you like a beer and a curry on a Saturday night. Although i train 6 days a week and my diet is pretty good.

I have a fitness freak friend who does the apple/orange/ banana diet when he is cutting up- he basically substitutes breakfast or lunch with an apple/orange and banana he talks about quick and slow release carbs, it works but it is boring.

Here are some pre-op photos. I had surgery three years ago, but the doctor still left gland and some scar tissue formed. I know what I had before this recent surgery was minor compared to other people on here, but after having surgery done already I just wanted to be rid of it for good.
Surgery 2nd April with Dr. Benito.

 Nice results mate.

Quick question - did you know Benito was going to make a nipple incision? It was my understanding that he almost always goes through a small armpit cut. ???

Yeah, he told me before the op that he was going to do it that way, because of where the hard tissue was and because of the method used in the previous op. I think most of the time he does use under arm incisions.

Cheers.

mwalker, there isn't much to tell you. Dr. Benito is a good doctor and gets straight to the point. Aida is really helpful, if you have ANY questions at all she will get back to you within about 24 hours. She is quite familiar with most of the ops too and can answer most questions anyway. If you have any questions in particular, just send me a message or post them on this and I'll answer them no bother.

May is fully booked up, but anytime in June is available. I just emailed Aida to ask about the 6th June and to see what the next step is. Jim, I have quite alot of fat, grade 2 Benito said, its hard to imagine all that loose skin will tighten up but Dr Benito said it would. Yours looks quite tight after only 1 week!!!!!!!!!!!!! If my resuts are anything like urs I will be made up!!!!!!!

mwalker74, I'm sure it'll be grand, mate. I think the important thing is to be realistic and listen to what the doctor says. But, if Dr. Benito says that it should tighten up that's great news. Saw on another message that you've got your surgery all booked. Good luck with it and all the best.

Yeah, 4th June!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like I said I cant believe I have actually done it. The support from my family is second to none. Now I want to lose a few pounds before surgery in 8 weeks. It is slightly daunting but I cannot wait. I will keep posted on here.Whatever happens, its gonna be better than how i look now. I just want to be able to go shopping and choose whatever clothes I want, and take my daughter swimming!!!!! oh, and walk around on the beach with no top on when we go on holiday in September!!!!!!!!!

Same as that, mate. I can't wait until I get rid of the compression vest (got to wear it for 4 weeks) and I can go and get some t-shirts for the summer

Here are some of my chest 2 weeks post op. I had the stitches out on Sunday (12 days after surgery), which was pretty painless. Since I got the stitches out though, I've noticed the whole area seems a lot more sensitive that it was last week and there's a slight increase in 'discomfort'. This might just be because I've been looking, but I've noticed that there seems to be lots of small creases around my nipples. There has been a bit of swelling too, not much though. Overall, I'm still in less pain than I thought I'd be and I've nearly normal movement back. Sometimes when I stretch though I feel a bit of tugging, which is quite sore. Did any one else get this?
