im gona call levick tomorrow.im really concerned -not about the scar or anything like that.as i know that will resolve over time but the large area on the chest that looks like too much fat has been taken out and a crater/denting in look.its really doing my nut and im sure it wont resolve as fat can not move around, theres no swelling or scar tissue to resolve in that area, just looks like too much fat has been taken out.i am gona ask for him to see me for the post op consultation.

sorry to hear that geg, im starting to notice that things are not going to be as good as id wished!, the swelling hid quite a few holes and dimples but now they are coming more aparrent, just above my right nipple it seems as tho to much fat has been taken away and my nipples seem to be puffy, i think if they wernt puffy they would look ok but they seem to be exagerating the problem with the missing fat, im due to phone levick tomorrow so il have a word with him about it then, let me know how you get on geg.

Well ive still got the puffy nip thing going on as well as said before. Do you both think that its not going to be resolved once we are fully healed? Ive also got areas that show indentations on my chest, if i raise my arms above my head etc. However at the moment those issues arent bothering me, as i dont walk around with my arms raised above my head  :D My right hand side seems to have a more sunken look when i do the arms above head thing, but again it wont bother me unless it gets worse and noticeable all the time.

Chris are you back on the weights at the gym yet? Ive started doing a bit this week. Body is aching again like  the 1st time i lifted and your not used to it. Working my legs today so probably wont be able to walk this weekend.

Yeah im back in the gym m8 hitting the iron with no problems or pain or even discomfort!, im getting my strength back now as i had lost about 20-30%, it figures because my diet was shot to sh!t and not training just spells disaster were trying to keep your strength is concerned, my strength is sitting at 95% of full capacity at the moment but im not going to push for the extra 5% just yet, no need to rush it.

hey guys have you noticed all our indentations are on the right hand side of the chest.
before i even went for the consultations i remember reading some posts about ex -levick pateinst that had a problem with just one side of their chest and im sure it was the right hand side.but i dont remember reading any follow ups.
maybe thats a good signa s if they werent resolved they would be posting saying about it.
i think we need to wait for 6 months still.

shit guys look what dr bermant says about ultrasonic lipo (what we had)

Check out the lateral (side views) and posterior oblique (side from the back views with and without muscle flexion here to see what I mean.

Ultrasonic liposuction uses energy to help emulsify fat.  Power assisted liposuction uses mechanical vibrating devices to rapidly move the cannula back and forth.  Both PAL and Ultrasonic methods have been around for several years.  Many do not prefer what they do to the tissue.  Others like what they offer.  Both still preferentially remove fat over gland.  Both make the work of the surgeon easier.  Some feel ultrasonic liposuction can cause more swelling, bruising, and the increase the need for drains.

For me however, they also both remove the feel of the tissue sculpture.  I like the much better control I get with my cannula selection and personally I do not like either ultrasonic nor power assisted techniques.  None of the cases on my website used either PAL or Ultrasonic techniques.

As any artist, I take my cannula selection very seriously and have evolved what permits me to achieve my results.  I have considered and evaluated many, many technologies.  The many different types of cannula I use have their own advantages and qualities.  I pick a subset of these cannula that varies for the many different types of gynecomastia male chest sculpture that I see.

ok guys look wat dr bermant says about the type of surgery we had with ultrasonic lipo

the importatnt bit -I have also seen patients with channel problems between remote access sites and the areola / nipple.  Scars, adhesions, and depressions can look terrible.  :-[!!!!!!!

To tell you the truth geg i didnt know we had ultra sonic lipo?, i just thought it was a plain old canular with suction that was rammed in and out of my chest, i remember levick saying that he had a rep showing him a lipo machine that used jets of water to break up fat, but he said it was to expensive (£30,000) so i asumed we were getting a happy shopper :) version of lipo (cheap version).

I spoke to levick tonight about my chest especialy the RH side, i said that i had a line apear accross my RH pectorial about 4-5 inches long, he knew exactley what it was, he then described to me what it felt like and he was spot on!, he said "does it feel like a piece of string under the skin", i told him that it did and he told me what it was called but i cant remember now, he said it should go away but some times he may have to give it a snip, probabley to remove the tension in it and allow in to stop pulling as i move my shoulder.

I asked about my nipples being slightley puffy and he said it was normal and the are not settled yet, i asked about how often to massage and he agreed when i sugested a couple of times a day, as i first said once a day or every other day, he said no you should massage more often than that!, so at least 2 times a day.

He told me to contact him in the spring!, so if my condition hasnt improved by then i think i will have to travell down to see him.

Chris, are you doing any chest exercises yet such as bench, db presses and flyes?
Geg, whilst Dr bermant could be correct im always skepitcal about his opinion. If you type in various conditions in to google (big ears, nose jobs etc) you will ulitmatley come across a link to his site stating that he is an expert in the field. He seems to specialise in everything, which makes me wonder exactly how specialised he is. Surely you cant be great at everything. I think his repuation here is mainly due to him being the only surgeon to visit the forums and openly post. His opinion might differ on surgical technique, but doesnt mean its accurate for our cases.

Im sure each surgeon has their prefered method. I do also wonder though if the areola exicision isnt more precise as you dont have to go such a long way and could remove the gland more easily. I have seen a few complaints about surgeons other than Levick who use that armpit lipo technique saying that the gland is still their as its impossible to remove it all that way. But Dr levick has a reputaion of getting the gland, so who knows.

Guess we've just got to wait and see if our expectations have been met in a few months time.

Chris are the weights having any impact on the shape of your chest? Just wondering if you think they are helping things along or not. I did a chest routine a week ago and noticed things looked a bit better. Do you have pic updates? Also are you able to wear your old pre gyne clothes again?

Is everybody still wearing their compression vests? i wear mine at nights only now.
