Welcome and well done on advancing your case Ricardo.  It's not easy and without the guys on here I would still be sitting at home staring at my gyne, which is a sobering thought to say the least.  You have some great allies in Wingman & Darkstar, they'll keep you right, plus thetodd is back, nuff said

Just booked up my return train ticket and accomodation for the night before surgery - travelodge in the city centre (moor street) for £20, not bad!

Awaiting my information pack from the hospital, looking forward to receiving that so I can start preparing properly.

Some info that may be of use, I emailed Levick's office asking them what to bring, this is the reply I got from Levick's wife:

'You just need your night clothes and toothbrush. You are provided with soap and towels. Mr Levick does a ward round the next day about 9 am and you can go after that. If you tell the ward staff that your train is not till 13.20 they may be able to let you stay in your room longer - you normally leave the hospital by 10.30 am.

Where did you guys get your arnica?

Is it available at boots etc?

My local health food store. You prob get it at holland & Barrett too.

I got mine in holland and Barrett. Only started taking it post op and I keep forgetting to be honest with you. I too stayed in the travelodge, city center - very basic but all you need really. Not long now till your surgery so best of luck, it goes quick!

Pez, its starting to feel more real by the day. Genuinely terrified about the surgery itself (I know theres no need to be but its only natural!) but dying to be rid of gyno once and for all.

I wasnt that nervous to be honest with you but when you arrive at the hospital and you get dressed into the gown and socks - it all feels very real and nerves definitely kick in at that stage. My hands were so cold (happens when Im nervous), that the nurses were worried it may affect the anaesthesic as a result of bad circulation... Luckily, it didn't.

It all happens so quickly, you wont remember being put out and before you know it you're waking up and you're in recovery. Not once did I think 'Am I doing the right thing?'. I needed rid of my gyno and surgery is the only way thats happening. You're seeing a surgeon who does hundreds of these procedures a year and you're in an environment with nurses used to looking after peopl who are nervous and concerned about the procedure. You're in very good hands so try not to worry.

Just under 2 weeks to go now... feels a bit surreal. One minute I'm sh*tting it, the next I'm optomistic, the next it doesn't feel real like it's not actually going to happen!

Happy New Year dude. I'd say the majority of people experience the same feelings as you mate. Just remember Mr Levick has been doing this for 30 years, had it done himself, and has lots of great results on the forum.

When I was feeling a bit nervous, i went to the shops and bought some nice fitted t shirts for post op, it seemed to make me feel better I'm 7 weeks post op with Mr Levick and i'm over the moon with my results! You'll be fine mate.

Good luck mate. Just think it was 2 MONTHS ago you started this board and now you'll be out the other side in just 2 weeks!

As for the op itself you'll be fine. Was my first op so wasn't sure what to expect but I think you always expect it to be worse then it really is.

Went to holland and barrett on my lunchbreak for arnica - they only have the 'pillules' that come in a little click pack. anyone used these?

Where can I get them just in capsule form?

Good luck Ricardo, I am sh****g myself as well . Got my arnica from Boots think it was £4 ish. Just about to order a Design Veronique compression vest as recommended.
