irstly dude, your results are awesome.
There is a huge diffrence between your pre and post op pics.

Initially there was some unevenness in the contour but with time it settles.

The scar tissue is still there on the lower side of the nipples where the incision was made. It has gone down considerably over time and hopefully will dissolve completely with time.
The only problem i faced after removing the compression vest was that the lower part of the nipple turned soft and fluffy and scar tissue devoped.I am hoping that this will also be resolved once the scar tissue goes.
But believe me next time you wont be ashamed of removing you shirt in front of people due to your chest.
Keep us posted and let us know how ur recovery goes.
Please add your city and doctor name also in the post so it might be helpful to other forum users.
Regards,

Hi mumbai experience,

I am glad to see that things are panning out better and better as time has passed.

Unfortunately, it hasnt been so in my case. As the swelling subsided things only got worse. Here is a link that better describes my problem:

Did you in the course of your recovery, ever face any such issues?

Hello Decimal.

You are panicing just to early.lnfact you should be happy with the results.

The creasing is due to the excess skin left over after the fat and gland have been removed. If you are young it should dissapear in a years time depending on your skin elasticity.
As for the crater check out my pics. I had a crater when i flexed for almost 6 months and my nipples looked very puffy.
All the doctors told me not to worry and give it time. 1 year is a perfect time to judge the results as the body needs time to heal and adjust to the new contour. I have  started weight training and working my chest makes a great diffrence. Gain some muscle mass on your chest and the excess skin will disappear sooner.
Over time it will only get better. It gets worst for first 2 months and after that it starts to improve. You wont see the scars or craters over time. Have you developed scar tissue yet. if not then you might which will also soften over time.
So dont worry about it.

I checked you page but didnt see picturesd.
After surgery you wear vest for 4-6 weeks. I wore for 4 weeks day and night except when showering.
Scars from surgery will disappear over time but depends on doctors skill.

Hi Man, im paul from goa, trust you are doing good post that surgery,
just a few queries, what was the total coat incurred by you, you have given a range, and not a fixe price

can this procedure be covered under company medical policy, did you ask the doc on this and finally what are the tests you performed bfore surgery i'll come there by doing all of them from here itself

thanks and congrats on the brand new life you got.. cheers

Hey Paul,
Sorry for the delay in reply.

THe approx cost is 40-50k.

I dont think cosmetic surgery is covered under medical insurance but you can talk to the doctor about it.

I am not sure about the tests since its been a while and its always safer to consult with the doctor. He is the best to give advice on this matter.

Let me know if you need any help

Dear Mumbai Experience ,

All seeing your post , i spoke to Dr Sandip Jain , he sounded very good to me .but a couple of things .... first he does this surgery under general anesthesia and second and he asking me to stay back in the hospital for 2 days and is quoting very high price .... though my gyno is not much ...i means its smilar to yours in size ..... can you pls let me know if your surgery was done under general anesthesia and can you pls give me your cost break up ...this would be of great help .

Hey Kaps,

I dont remember the cost of the surgery since its been over a year. I will try to give you an approximate figure though.

1. Consulting ---500

2. Pre OP test---700

3. Hospital charges and doctor fees around 40,000 with general ward admitance and stayed 1 day.

4. compression vest 2500

5. Post OP medicines ----1500

Yes the doctor used general anesthesia on me too. Believe me you dont want to be awake when the doctor is cutting you open. I prefer the general anesthesia since you get up directly after the surgery and feel nothin at all.

To ALL,

Please read the entire post before asking question. Most of the questions have been answered. If you dont want to waste time on reading then I certainly dont want to waste time replying to question already answered like why did i choose this doctor, which other doctor I visited and whats the doctors website...etc.

Thank you.

kindly do not put any doctors name here, unless he has messed up with patients or he overcharges.  i went to one of the doctors mentioned above. even after reading the above refrence for a laser treatment. but not many will do that, if we read something like the above.

I am finding good results today. and i thought i would request you remove the post, as it would be potentially affecting the doctors customers. hence this post and there by doing unjustice to the doctors talent.

Thank you in advance.

Anoopsukumar,

I have no intention of undermining the doctors talent. The review is written on my experience with him, his staff or clinic.
People can make a decision if they want to visit him after reading the review(It saves them time, effort and consulting fees.). I have not belittled any doctor's talent because I havent under gone treatment with them. I just mentioned my initial experience and I think people are entitled to their opinions.

Hope this helps.
