New scar cream

    Has anyone ever heard of snail excretion being used as the main ingredient in a high end scar cream? Reviews of some of the types of scar care products highly recommend those types of creams as being effective in reducing scars in general. I will try it out to see if it works or not because the cocoa butter is drying and flaking after a couple minutes of use (seems cheap) and the merderma is working  okay.

If a scar is flat, narrow and flush with the skin, vitamin E oil or cream works very well.  It is inexpensive and it does the trick.  There are many creams and lotions out there, all purporting to help scars heal.  Many of high price.  Buyer beware -- you don't need them. 

If your scars are thickened or raised, then best advice is to return to your surgeon, who might help with some treatment or advice.
