I had a bad case of gyno, got operated on almost 3 months ago now. I'm still needing to get 30-40cc drained from the right breast once every 2-3 weeks. Is this normal in some cases? I'm getting concerned because I'm moving to another state at the end of the month and I was anticipating the draining process to last so long. What are my options to remedy this if I need it done when I'm away from my surgeon???

On an unrelated note, the left side looks great, but the other day I noticed there was still a small hole right along the nipple line and i squeezed my breast and puss started to come out! Then it was just normal blood and eventually it stopped. Was there a pocket under my nipple or is this bad? Now it looks normal and the hole has scabbed up.

Without seeing you, I would recommend you sit down and have a heart to heart talk with your surgeon about the surgical results and especially the continued drainage (which is very unusual 3 months post op).

Re your left side, you may have had a small pocket of pus which you successfully drained.  It is now in process of healing -- leave the scab alone.  This is analogous to a pimple on the skin -- once the pimple bursts, there is a natural process of healing.
