Hi,
After reading through these boards and getting lots of great input I was just about to give Dr Levick a ring and arrange a consultation  BUT I stumbled across a thread where somebody had been advised to see somebody about there hormones before surgery because it could return.

I am 19 now and have mild/moderate gyno but this hormone stuff has me confused, the question is , would you advise me to see a doctor about hormones before seeing doctor levick ? and how would I go about it ? gp, specialist etc ?

Most definately you should have your hormones checked first just to make sure they are ok. If they are not re growth could occur.

Go see your GP tell him/her situation and ask for referral to see specialist endocrinologist.

Depends on waiting times in your local hospital.

Its a simple blood test to measure the key hormones that influence gynecomastia. Try and get a morning appointment to get the most accurate results. Results normally available in 4/5 working days, although you may not see them until you see the doc again
