need advice for post op clothes

I will be going out of state next week to have surgery, I need to know what type shirts  I  can wear for the first week after surgery, do I need extra large shirts because of compression vest underneath, would I be able to wear regular t-shirt or will it be to painfull to raise my arms to put them on ,should I take buttoned shirts only?

I would recommend large, comfortable, button-down shirts so that you need not raise your arms excessively.
