surgery a week ago.. pics.. and unevenness concern

I had my surgery on the 17th. And I have read a lot in here, but I take my vest like once a day and i take pics of the progress. And I don't mind getting bad news, I just want to be realistic, but it seems that one side has much more fat than the other, I'm no expert but it seems like swelling is going to have to come down a lot on one side to even out.

Btw my gyno is not that bad but at least I was even before! lol
Of course the doc said to wait, I have to go back this coming thursday. A little background was that I found THE BEST surgeon I could find to do my nose and ears. And then I wanted to do my chest which was minor, but this awesome doc only does face work. So he put me in touch with a couple of people, and they weren't any specialists, they did more girl stuff. Some of the docs I researched were out of state and honestly the timing for recovery was perfect right now because I have about a month downtime plus with the fact that this docs schedule was going to be booked for a month so for the chest i went with one of the doctors that he suggested just because of convenience (that again weren't specialists in gyno stuff).

So I went with it, and now it looks like my chest is really not even. I would be ok if it was some minimal puffiness but its a fair amount if you simply look at it.

I went to the doc once already, and he said that he was OCD about it being even and it was even in the operating room so it should even out. But in case it didn't he can fix it with local anesthesia (any idea what that procedure is like?). I'm just worried honestly because I just see the contrast between this expert doctor at noses and then some guy that probably hasn't done that many gynecomastia operations is kinda like new at it and will eventually realize that he's gonna need fix it so I'm gonna have to go through it again.

Of course this is all speculation on my end.. I'm just a bit uneasy with looking at it now and I just want to get it off my chest (no pun intended haha) and see what you guys think

It is very difficult evaluating your images. When one arm is up holding a camera, comparing the two sides is impossible. That is why showing Standard After Gynecomastia Pictures can better let others understand your concerns.

If surgery was only 1 week ago, it is way too early to evaluate possible results. Uneven swelling is a possibility as is insufficient removal of tissue during the first operation. The Puffy Nipple Complication After Gynecomastia Surgery can be on one side, both sides, or each side to a different degree.

Revision surgery is no minor undertaking and often is much more complex than the first time. This is an art form. Not all doctors have the same skills. Checking for before after examples of that doctor's revision work is a good way to evaluate that particular skill. For my revision male chest sculpture, I prefer local with sedation for my Plastic Surgery Anesthesia.

thanks for reply doctor, I'm gonna try taking them again with a tripod.

As far as the current ones go, that's really exactly how it looks like, I'm just using my bicep to hold the camera no chest muscle, I just lowered my arm and looked in the mirror and it really does look like that either way.

If this was the case what would you suggest doing? Do you think I will need revision surgery? Of course you couldn't tell but just a guess from the pics.

I thought about the revision thing too, I want to give it some time to see what this doctor says and if i do actually have to get revision I will look into finding a gynecomastia specialist for the revision just to make sure it's good.

It is way, way, way to early for you to know the final result of your surgery. It really does take a few months to see the final result.

Even so, you look great already. Relax and enjoy.
