ridofgyne19 sounds good dude !!

didn't get any bumps post op, but my nips were pretty much concave when I first saw them 1 week post op !! they change a lot in a couple of weeks so don't worry about how things look now.

Mm it may have been due to the padding etc giving uneven amounts of pressure on different areas.. Will just have to wait and see I guess! Movement feels better now I've taken all the padding off and can manage to get t shirts on etc now over the vest which is good.  :)

2 Days Post-Op:
Skin looks a little odd where the vest has been on, which is what all them weird lines and marks are ! So far seems to be little bruising, not sure if swelling has started to onset or not yet, will see how it changes over the next few days. Still seems to be some unevenness etc, hard to tell at this stage if it's due to the vest or not! Excuse the gut..  ::)

Mate that looks like a top result, as each day passes your results will get better and better. Your body shape is similiar to mine and I think I'm gonna have same results as yours. But in three weeks time after wearing that vest none stop, you can start exercising, losing weight and after two months you will be chuffed as nuts.

Just think we can exercise now and actually look good, we can bench press, press ups and see results where as before we wasn't able to.

All the best.

Thanks  :) Yeah I'm happy so far, my pecs are already fairly decent from all my heavy training in the gym, just need to cut my BF% right back down again! Have piled on weight over the last few weeks, really need to try and knuckle down on my diet asap in preparation for when I can start training again etc. Trying to eat as much fresh pineapple as possible to help with the swelling etc, think it's already swollen a bit but as I said before it's hard to tell at this stage! Managed a shower this morning absolutely fine, movement seems pretty good tbh, no difficulty in getting food/drink and using the computer etc!

Might change the platers over my areolas tomorrow and try and get a picture whilst they're off to show how that's getting on as well.

I was the same, I trained in mma, I went gym for 2 years and then I discovered crossfit. I have a big chest naturally anyway, very similiar to you so once we start training again we can start to shape our chest up. Where as before its mostly Gyne and we couldn't do much.

I piled on the weight over the past year, just over a stone but the way I look at it is its realistically achievable. With hard work we can lose that weight, but hard work doesn't get rid of gyne unless the hard work is for saving up for the surgery.

Just give it time fella. :)

Day 3 Post-Op today. Just had another look, all looks good, uneveness/bumpiness I mentioned looks to be leveling/sorting itself out I think which is good! Still not much bruising, think there's some swelling but again it's hard to tell really. Most people seem to say swelling is at its peak day 3-4, so if this is my chest in it's swollen state then I'll be very happy as I imagine it'd flatten out even more afterwards - wait and see though I guess! Was going to take the plasters off but they seem to be quite well stuck on so I think I'll let them come off in there own time? Still no real discomfort or anything, movement is pretty good etc, so far healing seems to be going very well.  :)

Yeah I hope! Changed the plasters on areolas earlier, looked a lot better for the 5 minutes they were off. Look smaller etc. Hopefully that's how they'll stay once plasters are off and everything, will be very happy with that if they do!  :)

About 2-3 weeks in, maybe bit earlier, you will feel your chest tighten up and feel a bit of scare tissue lumps etc. Seemed to peak at about 3 weeks for me.

Get plenty of rest, compression, healthy food and pineapple down you mate and take things easy.

How long have you gotta wear the plasters over nips for dude ?

When you say tighten up, do you mean in a good way? As in skin firming up etc or..?

Not really sure tbh.. I think it's 7-10 days? Hopefully someone like Lightweight can comment with how long they kept there's on for - isn't really clear in the post-op instructions.  ???

Nah I mean you feel hard parts form under ur skin, either scar tissue or swelling not sure which, it starts subsiding at 3 weeks or so post op. You can't notice it visually really but it just feels bit weird.

hmmm, wait for another Karidis patient to tell you mate. Think someone posted post op instructions somewhere, will go have a look.

Ah yeah I know what you mean!

Yeah I recall someone posting them instructions up, they were the same as the ones I've got, but I couldn't really understand what it meant about the plasters. It said something about waiting either 7 or 10 days before discarding them, but I don't know if that meant permanently or before reapplying fresh ones  :-\

•   You may shower after 24 hours.  Do not however have a bath (there is always the risk of germs from the bathtub getting in through the incisions if you sit in a bath before the incisions have completely healed up).  You will of course need to remove your compression garment and any sticky dressings.  On the incision sites apply a waterproof dressing such as Elastoplast Aqua Protect strips or Boots own name brand of waterproof dressings (all are usually available at Boots).  These are usually quite effective, and should remain stuck on the incisions for about a week.  If in the interim they do peel off then just reapply another one.  In general its best to leave these on for about 7 days before discarding them.  Re-apply the garment as necessary afterwards.

Found this bit on Choppers post, I'm guessing 7 days ??? but yeah its not that clear is it.

Yeah that's the bit I was on about  :P I suppose 7 days sounds about right anyway, should be all healed by then I imagine! So will probably go with that.  :)
