hey guys! figured id do an update since its been a while. Two months post op now and i can say my chest looks noticeably better but still not satisfied. My nips are still puffy and they still stick out a little i also started noticing some hard stuff behind my nipples probably scar tissue? i guess it could be left over gland aswell. I have a follow op in a month and hopefully ill get to actually see my surgeon for the first time. If my nipples are still puffy im gonna discuss revision with him wich i doubt his even gonna consider but ill try. How is everyone else doing any updates?

element,  so no reduction in nip puff over the last few weeks - or just a little?

It is 6 weeks for me. I feel I am now better than preop - but maybe only 30% better over all.  I could live with left side now if it never got flatter - but the right side is still lousy, swollen, with some under and side moob remaining. In touching some of the areas it feels like some loose (air filled) pockets rather than heavy fat or tissue so indeed I may be healing up and takes a while at my age for skin to shrink up.

I am holding faith for another six weeks at least (12 total) to see continued reduction in sizes and flattening.   I have a followup appointment in a few days and will chat with nurse and doctor then. Wearing compression shirts and massaging nightly. Also back to full workouts.

nipple only looks a little bit smaller than preop. Its definitely better then pre op but i was hoping for better. maybe my expectations are too high cause im into bodybuilding and stuff and wanna get really ripped for summer. When its cold and my nipples shrink im pretty much 100 percent happy with the result i just wish it would stay like that. Theres a possibility it could be swelling but im starting to doubt that. It looks the worst when i get out of a bath then they really puff out like pre op. I think there puffy cause he left a tiny bit too much of gland but i aint no doctor so i dont know i guess its better then having too much taken out and having craters. It could live with it the way it is but i believe that for the money we pay to get this done we should be 100% satisfied.

element, the last photo you look pretty normal on the puffiness and overall normal to me. If I saw you at the beach would not think a thing out of ordinary.

I can see what your saying in the first photo however.

cool! good too know im not over analyzing things. For now I still gotta play the waiting game but im crossing my fingers that my nipples are puffy due to swelling wich is a strong possibility. Ill find out more when i go for my follow up. It seems my left side puffs out more then my right and i remember my nurse saying that my left side was more swollen a couple days after the surgery. Oh well crossing my fingers things get better!

Hey Element! Good to hear from you!  Read your update.  I agree with Greatlakes' response - your chest looks normal - granted, puny and not muscular - but normal nonetheless.  :-)   Just teasin.  From those pics, man, I think it looks pretty decent; definitely wouldn't bat an eye if I saw you on the beach.  Today, I am 7 weeks post-op (one week after you, one week before greatlakes)   Like you, my nips look good when they're cold or wet but look 'soft' when relaxed.  I think that we've dealt with goofy titties for so long that we never stopped to think about 'normal' nipples which is what I think we now have!  I understand that we want to be 100% satisfied and appear 'perfect', but it's more important for our expectations must be REALISTIC.  Like you, I enjoy lifting weights, and I want to have a big, massive, defined chest - but that comes through hardwork and dedication. We can't have glands removed and expect to have that chest.  The hard part starts now - lifting hard, doing cardio, watching our diet, etc.  Without the glands, we have the ability to earn that chest without having a breast sitting on top of it!  Let's go do it!  I've been lifting hard for a month and regaining full range of motion.  I, too, am hoping to drop some serious bodyfat by the middle of the summer.

As for having 'too much gland'.  EVERYONE has a gland, even those guys with the beautiful chests! If you doc would've taken our all of it, the crater would've looked awful.  Look at some horror stories online and this forum.  Most would be BLESSED to have your chest!!!!

The hard stuff behind and around the nipple, that feel like beans, are scar tissue.  That will dissipate in a few weeks/couple months.  Don't worry about it!!!

Your chest looks great so don't be too harsh of a critic.   Now get your ass to the gym!!!!!   :-)

Fnn, that sounds normal to be swelling in the days right after your surgery.   Way too soon to start worrying! Happy healing!

hey showtime email is lclement18@gmail.com, fnn ya there still a little puffy but it could be swelling maybe not though either way i think i could live with it. Like showtime said i think we expect our chest to look like a perfect chest and that's rarely gonna be the case. Ya my nips still stick out a little bit out of my shirt and it doesn't look perfect but i finally have a nice contour and it looks alot more like pecs. As far as recovery goes its an emotional rollercoaster some days your gonna go crazy cause it looks like absolute shit and other days your like wow it looks great! Just be patient bro some say even 2 months is too early too judge.
