Hey pal.  Glad you like the pics and results so far!  I am pretty excited actually.   There's still some filling out that I'd like to see and fat that I'd like to lose, but at this point I'm happy with the progress. (I'll be at two months this coming Thursday)

Currently lifting heavy and dieting hard, hopefully I'll look respectable come the summer time!

I've read through this entire thread and I just wanted to say how awesome you guys are especially Showtime620, greatlakes, and the OP Crossfit99. You guys are incredibly brave for sharing your stories and I found it very informative and helpful reading through this thread. Please continue to share your experiences.

Crossfit99, how did the doctor visit go yesterday (May 19)? I saw the other thread with your pics, too, and I'm glad you posted about the doctor info and Plastic Surgeon vs. Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. I also saw the other pics that you posted when you were in peak form, and I just got to tell you that your body was dynamite! You've got my fantasy body. How have things progressed since your last update?

Element_01, I think your results are great, too.

Fnnewguy, keep us updated on the progress.

Hey Mister hi top guy!  Welcome to the thread!   Glad you were able to read through everything and found it informative!   To me personally, this website and this thread, specifically, have both been blessings to me. Having these friends to talk to during my initial recovery was amazing, as I didn't, and still haven't, told anybody about my surgery. (I will be at two months post-op this Thursday )    Please feel free to ask any of us questions as we are all more than happy to help!  Do you plan to have surgery soon?

Wow, Showtime, you haven't told anyone yet? That's cool, though. Nobody really needs to know anyway.

I'm going to be making an appointment this week for a consult. I was going to do it in March but I had to have dental work done, so now that that's taken care of, I can start with this.

I'll probably start my own thread once I get the ball rolling  ;D

I do hope Crossfit99 is alright.

Good stuff, man! I'm sure it'll work out well for you!   How severe is your gyne?  And how much do you use the pool or beach in the summer?  Reason I ask is because, if it's not TOO bad, I'd personally wait until the fall if you can handle it for one more summer. The recovery will take a little time and you won't be allowed in the sun for at least 6 weeks, usually a bit longer.

Nope! Haven't told anyone.  My rationale is that I dealt with this problem since grade school myself, I spent alot of effort trying to hide it (which I did successfully ), I got the surgery myself, I spent four days secluded in my house healing, and spent the last 8 weeks dieting and exercising hard by myself!  No need to include anybody now!  I go to the beach with my family in June and I CAN'T WAIT!  Taking my shirt off for the first time is going to be a wonderful moment!

I really hope crossfit is alright, too. He was my first buddy on this site and it breaks my heart to hear that he isn't happy with his results. However, he is determined, dedicated, and smart and is already setting his sites on a revision.   I think he's gonna turn out beautifully!

I'm excited to read about your upcoming experience and your journey along the way!

Yo guys. I doin alright. Not happy with the results right now but I'm only two weeks post op and can feel myself healing. Patience is the key I suppose. Have a crease through each nipple a lot of doctors say that's normal but I have heard a few ppl not have it go away...so I guess it's just the waiting game now. I'll post pics this weekend probably. Surgery is not the end folks, it's the beginning of the end. It's just kinda rough chz I want normal nipples now! Ha

Thanks for the words of encouragement, Showtime. My gyne is moderate, but it's definitely noticeable, and I do feel self-conscious taking my shirt off. And now that I'm older, there's definitely more jiggle going on than before  :o

Staying out of the sun or swimming probably won't be a problem for me. I'm super excited to hear of your upcoming day at the beach, come June, so make sure you post it here.  :) And don't forget the sunscreen.

fnnewguy, can't wait to see the pics.

@ Fnn - I had those creases, too.  The right is still there, but dissipating, albeit slowly.  The left one went away after about the 6th week.  What I've read, is that the incision stitches are under the skin and the 'squeezing' of the stitches essentially sucks the nipples in across the middle.  I've heard that the stitches can take 8-10 weeks to fully dissolve, so try not to worry until that point, at least!  I'm hoping that my right nip crease is fuully gone within another month.  (Tomorrow is 2 months post-op already! Can't believe it!)

@ Hi Top - that's how I felt, too.  I highly recommend you get it done; you'll receive a new lease on life.  Although this problem is miniscule in comparison to the problems of others, it's still a problem to us nonetheless!  You'll be glad that you did.

I can't wait for the week at the beach, either, man. I'll be updating for sure!   I'll be wearing the sunscreen in full force!
