Thanks improving!
Had my consultation with Levick today. He's really a positive and fun guy, and made me feel comfortable the second I stepped into his office! He showed me some pictures and described the procedure for me.

The consultation really was not that informative thanks to all the guys on this forum. But it was really good to meet Levick, his lovely wife and have a look at the hospital. After the consultation I paid the 3850, and my wallet definitely felt emptier.

The trip then went down to the Bullring... After 3 hours there with my girlfriend, I was broke!
Lying in my bed now at the hotel, and only 12 hours left before I get these f***ing things off my chest :)

See ya on the other side  ;D

Surgery with Levick completed ;D ;D ;D

Surgery day:
I was booked to arrive at the Priory 8.00 having nothing to eat since midnight and nothing to drink after 6.00. I woke up 7.15, took a quick shower and got the receptionist at the hotel to call me a taxi around 7.30. The weather was awful, lots of traffic and the taxi didn't show up before 7.55. Perfect start at the day. I arrived with my girlfriend at the priory around 8.10 and was pretty stressed. I notified the reception and a porter took us to our room. ( my girlfriend stayed with me the entire time) He showed us how the bed, calling system and TV worked and left us at our room.

A few nurses came in had me fill out some forms, and took some tests. They took my blood pressure, my temperature and checked my pulse. They also took my off to take a blood sample, measure my height and weight. The anesthetist popped in to my room, introduced himself and told me about his job. A lady came in with a couple of menu's for my meals later on.

A nurse came in around 9.45 and told me Levick was running a bit late due to some traffic, but i cannot have been much more than 15 minutes before the main man himself was in my room. He just came to say hello, and told me had to get warmed up with a booby job(lady) before me. He's really a positive and cheerful guy. I wasn't a bit nervous at that point. And used the next to hours to relax at the bed with my GF. I was actually so relaxed that I woke up when a nurse came in to take me down to theater. (still don't get why they call it theater:S) I was quick out of bed en had to walk down in my Nike's shoes as i actually forgot to take my slippers with me. I think i looked really nice at that point 8)

A nurse took me in to this room that was next to what looked at the surgery room. I was told to lie down at a bed, and was attached to machine so the could monitor me while i was under. At this point I was so fucking nervous, and a bit cold too. I started to shiver and told the nurse i was a bit nervous. She talked a lot with me while i was waiting for the STUPID anesthetist. He felt stupid anyway at that time for making me wait what felt like was the longest 15-20 minutes in my life. My nerves settled a bit when Levick came in, took my before pictures, marked me up and made a couple of jokes i didn't understand at that time, but i smiled anyway. When the anesthetist finally came in, it went really fast before they injected me with the anesthesia. It was the strangest feeling I've had before, and for fun i tried to fight it. Watched the seconds at the clock and think i lasted around 6 sec before it went black.

In a blink i was back. It felt like a power nap at the couch after a exhausting day at work. I woke up from what felt like a million questions from the nurse. I kept drifting back in to sleep as soon as i felt like had answered them. And i really dont know how long i was at the recovery room. Remember seeing a lady laying there across the room really staring at me every time I opened my eyes. Or maybe she was just sleeping with her eyes opened and her head towards me ??? Anyway i got a oxygen mask on and was rolled back into my room. I remember lying there and look at all the people we flew by in the corridors.

Back in my room my GF waited for me and asked me a few questions that i vaguely remember answering. My throat was destroyed and my voice sounded like a 90 year old with throat cancer... I drifted out back in to sleep at this time too. I just couldn't stay awake. My GF had been pretty nervous when i was under, and i managed to convince her to leave and go down to the city for a few hours. At this point i think it was the best for bout of us. At this point i've had been drinking lots of water everytime i woke up. So i really felt like take a leak, and looked down at the drains on each side of the bed and concluded that i would need help. I buzzed the nurse, and she went to get another one to help to the toilet. I was a bit shaky when i walked but i went fine actually. Standing over with my sausage in my hand without a drop coming out was a bit more difficult though. I had to do it in intervals. Pressed for like 5-6 seconds really hard and it came. I think i used around like 4-5 minutes to get everything out. Went back to bed and slept pretty much. When i woke up again my GF was back, and it was really handy having a slave there to do everything for me every time i needed something. Levick also popped in at some time telling me the surgery went perfect, and showed me a few pics of the gland he had removed. I also glanced at my new flat chest. He gave me the camera and i zoomed in on the gland and my new nipples. I zoomed back out when I was finished looking and managed to zoom on step to long, and the display now showed what i assumed was the patient he did before me. Lot's of pictures of silicone women breast. :D I got a bit embarrassed, but Levick just laughed before he said good by, and told me he would see me in the morning.
The nurses came in very often doing the blood pressure, pulse  and temperature tests... They also asked me if i was hungry, but i was not at that time. I didn't have anything to eat before woke up around 5 pm. My chicken curry arrived. It wasn't to bad actually, but i really enjoyed me dessert which was chocolate ice cream. The ice cream did wonders for my soar throat. After the dinner i slept again, only to wake up quit often to drink water. Lots of water seemed to do me good. My slave kept shaking and move my pillow as i ordered, and give me water to drink. I didn't wake up properly before the start of the second half between Man shitty and real madrid. I had absolutely no pain, and the only discomfort was the drains under my arms. Every time i went to the toilet i had my girlfriend a few feet behind me carrying the trains. It was really helpful to have her there, and she had her own bed at the room where she slept. I didn't get any sleep before around 3 am and used the rest of the night to watch the latest episodes of Dexter. Bring you laptop, its really nice to have and it is a guest network.

Anyway, as some of you know my english is a bit messy since its not my first language...
I will post some pictures under very soon:)

Deja vu. Great write up, your English is fine! You got to wear the paper pants, you lucky man 8). I was told to keep my own pants on. Guess they didn't like yours. I should have mentioned to take slippers  but i thought if you didn't have any they provided slippers, nevermind.

Must have been a bonus to have the girlfriend/slave look after you etc, she sounds like a keeper!

Did your drains look like that picture the morning you left? I remember watching the tubes remove the fluid worrying that I was leaking too much, but turned out to be very little.

You'll get a great result mate! How are you feeling now?

Welcome to the other side 8)

Thank you very much, improving :) Yes, it wasn't much fluid that left my body after the first day. I too was surprised how little it was that actually came out :S
I'm feeling good thank you! A little hard belly is my only problem :S

I wouldn't worry about your English - that's probably the best report I've ever read on here! Along with the photo's it was good to visualise your experience, as so many others leave minor details out.

How are you feeling today? I'm travelling home the day after surgery (mine is in January) so hopefully I won't be feeling too bad.

What would you recommend I bring to wear when travelling home? Is it difficult to fit clothes over the dressings?

Looking forward to seeing your results, congratulations :)

I will put up a summary of my first days post op ricardo7 :) I think it was wise to stay one more night close to hospital, because you never know how your body is gonna react to the procedure. As in clothing, bring a zip up hoodie, mine was big enough to get over the dressings, but i really felt like i was really visible to everyone, so i wished i had a bigger sweater...

Okay. Safe back in my bed in Norway now.. This is the first days postop!

Day 1 post op:

I fell asleep around 3am at night after the surgery, and was woke up 6am by the first nurse for the day. She came in took the usual test, which are blood pressure, temperature and pulse... I was at this point really hungry, and asked for something to eat. Got a banana and some crackers..
Fell asleep again until 8.30 or something when my breakfast arrived.I had ordered some kind of toast.. When i looked at it i felt and smelled it i felt really nauseous. Felt like i was gonna puke very soon and alarmed my girlfriend who took my drains and got me into the bathroom. She alerted a nurse and got me something to puke in. I tried to puke on time without any success. I sat down at the toilet and that's when the scariest thing happened. I had trouble breathing, and in like 20 sec it was like 10 persons in my room.I was given a oxygen mask and settled down. Two nurses told me to move my feet to get the blood running. I was scared as f***!! I have never had any problem breathing before and this felt just like breathing through a straw. I got a wheelchair into the toilet and they wheeled me back into my bed. It felt really dramatic!! A doctor came and took a blood sample, and connected me to a ecg-machine. After a while they removed the oxygen mask and i felt fine. Everything was good by the tests and then doctor think i got up to from my bed too fast when i felt nauseous, and that i didn't get enough blood to me head or something. Quite scary anyhow!

I slept a little bit and ate some scrambled eggs and bread. I felt like a sick child when my girlfriend fed me everything while just lied on my back, chewed and swallowed  :D It was really good to get something in my stomach. I felt perfect again, and Levick popped in to check on me.. He told me i could stay as long as i wanted in the hospital. The next few hours i just chilled in my bed only interrupted by the nurses taking tests every 30 min or so to check that everything was ok. I had pizza for lunch, and it was pretty decent. Around 1 pm i asked when i could check out and go back to my hotel. I was told that Levick was still in theater, and that i should wait for him.

Around one hour later, Levick had been in, answering my questions and advising me what to do in the post op time after getting home. All good, and i left for the hotel in a taxi 20 minutes later.

Went back to the hotel, got onto my bed in my room and started writing the text about my surgery at this forum:)I had a quiet evening. Had a burger in the hotel restaurant, went back to bed watched a couple of movies on my PC and went to sleep around midnight. No breathing problems or any kind of problems rest of that day :)

Day 2 post op:
Woke up in my bed at the hotel around 5am, with some stomach pain. My stomach was really hard, and after some thought i realized i had only been peeing after the surgery. Nothing of the food had left my body. I sat at the toilet for something like 30 minutes trying to get something out, but i was hopeless... I got out a good amount of gas, and even that was quite satisfying. I went back to bed, and tried to massage my belly a little, ant i seemed to help, but still couldn't take a shit. Took some painkillers and fell asleep again.

I new this was gonna be the most exhausting day, since i was gonna travel back to Norway. I had the alarm on 10.30, we packed our bags and checked out. 5 minutes later with taxi i found my self on the Birmingham coach station, waiting for the coach to take me to London Gatwick where i was gonna fly from. The coach was set to leave at 11.30, and i had plenty of time before me 8pm flight from gatwick. I felt ok, but a bit empty and low on energy while waiting at the station. Managed to eat a banana and drink a bottle of water. My stomach felt really full and hard, and it was quite unpleasant. The coach was 30 mins late to arrive, and we didnt leave before 12.15 or something. The traffic was crazy, and we arrived at the Gatwick south terminal after something like a 6 hour drive. It was exhausting, and i new i only was kind of halfway on my journey home.. :(

I traveled in my zip up hoodie, with my compression garments underneath. I was pretty ease to see, and i was worried how that would turn out when i was passing through the security control. I actually felt like i was doing something illegal trying to cover it up, and that that looked even more suspicious. What a relief when i went straight through without any questioning about what I thought looked like a suicide west underneath my sweater :P

I hadn't had any pain during the day, and took my painkillers and antibiotics when i should. We sat down at a restaurant, and i had lasagna. I was so hungry, but was worried about pressing any more down in what seemed like a belly ready to explode. It went fine and at 8.15 i was in the air heading for Norway. Were a bit worried about breathing problems, sine the air is thinner up there, but didn't have any problems. Landed 10.45 ( Norwegian time is one our ahead) , and was home in my apartment 11.30! A long journey. I worried it had been a bit too long and exhausting.

Right before i went to bed i felt like it was a little bit of fluid under my right nipple, and freaked out pretty bad. I tightened up the garments even more, took some painkillers and tried to sleep. Sure hope i didn't overreached with that fucking long journey :/
