yeah, exactly. £2500 got me thinking when I first saw her site, hence why I went in for a consultation.. only to be told 4500!

If you can only afford 2,500, save yourself 500 and go to Poland. If you can afford Karidis or Levick, go with them.

Did the 4,500 even include hospital fees, or are you going to get continually gouged?

4,500 includes follow 3 follow up appointments and compression garment this is the total fee

Levick and Karidis wont charge you for post op checkups, you can go back as many times you feel you need to. Karidis supplies two vests, but levick doesnt supply any (but he is cheaper so you can buy them in advance)

If you stick with Chambers, make sure you ask for two vests because they need to be handwashed.

Yeah will do if they don't supply it then ill buy my own one lol, and i know money is not and should not be a factor of not choosing surgery as the surgery will change life hugely, I have been told that prices START from £4,500 - £5,500 for Karidis. I'am saying this for for those who said there was price difference.

£4283 (£2800 fee for karidis + £1483 hospital fee) was my cost. £75 consultation fee and I paid for the blood test to be done at the hospital on the day I booked for £146. So £4504 for EVERYTHING. Only way you will need to pay more is if you want additional lipo in other areas or if you need skin removal.

Did you ask about revision costs?

Funny how you have been "told" this (by whom?) - but yet everyone who had actually HAD surgery had paid the same fixed fee of just short of £4,300 plus £75 consultation donation and blood test which you have the option of paying £140ish to get done there, or free at your GP if you're lucky.

Levick & Karidis have more experience in this procedure than anyone else in the UK, and literally hundreds of unbiased stories with pics on here and elsewhere for you to check out... If you are contemplating spending the same kind of money as the leading/best surgeons charge, (I.E. money isn't a factor in your choice) I don't understand why you wouldn't at least spend a measly £75 on a consultation with one or both of them before making your mind up.

Chambers is just a good option for me, i have Private street next in my mind and maybe Karidis.

The only reason i can think it would cost anymore than the standard fee, would be if you required extra liposuction on your armpit area. Since she hasnt quoted lipo on the armpit either, it will be the standard fee.

Go with whoever suits you best, no surgeon is perfect so you've gotta go with your gut really.

Hmmm... That makes it all the more odd that every one of his patients seems to actually be paying £4,300!

Still, will be good to hear of your experiences with a different surgeon, the more reports on different surgeons, the better for everyone (like me!) who are still saving up for their turn!

This forum is here for support not for telling you who to use. If you feel comfortable with what you've been offered then it's your body and your call. I agree it would be interesting to see another surgeons work. Would be good whoever you choose to see you come back here and document it. Just make sure you have the full picture of every possibility before and after the surgery before you commit.

I was SHITTING myself at the thought of a General anaesthetic. There is no need it was OK. Big advances in drugs have been made over the last couple of decades & GAs are safer than ever.

Just get a GP to prescribe 10mg of valium - I was as relaxed as if I was having a few beers with the lads.
