Burning at 10 months

I'm 10 months post op and within the last two weeks started experiencing intermittent burning around my right nipple. Is this anything to be concerned about?

I've been feeling around and there are some areas that seem firmer than the left breast, but I'm not sure if this is just scar tissue, residual breast tissue, or new growth. I believe my right breast was always firmer than the left post op and, to be honest, I'd be surprised if this was new growth as I had puffy nipples from puberty until age 31 when I had lipo and excision, and there was never any noticeable growth in that time frame.

Nerves can get cut and bruised during gynecomastia surgery, and as those nerves "wake up," pain and burning is common (think of how your leg feels when it wakes up after falling asleep).  It typically passes within a few weeks.  It would be unusual to see your gynecomastia recur based on your description of your history.
