Yeah it's def a weird feeling taking the binder off, funny how you get used to it... like it's holding you together or something  :D

I've been taking mine off for an hour or so in the morning, just nice to not be constricted for a little while.

Thanks!

Did anyone else have 'bulges' around the top of your chest & particularly around the area where your chest meets your arm/incisions. Quite swollen there at the moment and its slightly painful, especially when I put the binder on in the evening as it digs in quite a lot.

It looks odd at the moment as it contrasts so much with the dip in my now flat chest.

Did it even out?

Quite a few people who underwent surgery with Mr Levick have mentioned developing bulges near the armpits likely due to the binder and that this swelling gradually resolves with time.

Day 11 post op.... (I think)

Marked improvement all round today, the swelling, tenderness & bruising has definitely evened out a lot. I took a shower earlier and couldn't stop checking myself out in the mirror lol!!

Really comfortable wearing my under armour compression tshirt underneath the compression vest, I think it's helping with the bulges that the binder has created around the top of the chest & around the lymph node area. I'm still wearing the binder for a few hours during the day when I'm sat doing nothing.

I'm finding the binder increasingly annoying at night!! However, no pain no gain!

I also had/have the bulges above where the binder sits, I still have mine at the 6 week mark, looks like it will take some time for the swelling there to finally settle down.

Wow, seems the binder causes more trouble than it's worth  :P

Mine seems to be getting a bit better, I can feel some lumps at the top of my chest where it's a little swollen but the rest of my chest is still nice and flat, I'm wearing the binder less and less now and just sticking to the compression vest.

3 Weeks Post op

Hi all, It's been a little while since I posted, hope everyone is doing ok. Just a little 3 week update - Feeling loads better in terms of pain, tenderness etc, the swelling seems to have reduced and bruising is now pretty much gone. My nipple scabs fell off a few days ago lol!

Still quite swollen in the lymph node area and underneath my arm pits and slightly around the top of my chest. I think I've also got some scar tissue forming - It's like a hard lump, particularly on the RHS, about an inch underneath my nipple and extends a bit up towards my arm. I have been massaging it gently but it gets quite sore if I do it for too long, the massaging doesn't seem to help at the moment.

The same applies for around the top of my chest, a few lumps and bumps where it was swollen at the top of the binder. Must be where the Lipo did the most damage. I'll be emailing Mr Levick later to see what he suggests.

My nipple area is very flat and still numb to touch. Still a bit of a 'dip' which I'm hoping will even out further as time progresses.

I can now sleep on my sides  ;D

Overall, still early days I know but still really pleased with the result so far, I sometimes look down to my chest in dis-belief!

Some photo's taken earlier to follow - Let me know what you think.

Yeah I will, not heard back yet but he does his surgeries on a weds/thurs. I know I am well chuffed, it gets better each day. Still doing my head in a bit about the bulges/lumps but I know I've just got to be patient.

I've ditched the binder now to be honest! Just wearing the compression vest. I asked Levick if he thinks this is ok, was really getting uncomfortable to sleep with it on at night and I'm sure it was making the bulges worse.

Yeah I totally cringe when I see that before pic  :-[ Can't believe I didn't get it sorted sooner but it's a big thing to get done.

How you been doing bigste?
