Good posts Ian and Mark,
thanx for the updates

For those who are still enquring, should we go there,(Poland),   what will it be like etc, is it any good, english problems etc ... well Ian was in exactly the same boat a month back, bombarding with questions, now to read his post it seems he had a holiday and an op at the same time.

On the whole from people who have been to Poland, we have had more positive exeperiences than negative ones overall. Mark put my initial fears at rest, I helped out other q's and PM's. Ian if you could also add any tips for prospectives on the 'Poland Tips' thread or similar here so as to put their minds at rest, for u r the freshest newbie to return

Street in sublice

That's the end of the street where you cross the road to go the bridge isnt' it? and there's a big glass shop selling cigarettes?
Well every shop sells cigarettes basically. I actually stayed at the hotel at the bottom of that street, I think it was called the Klassinki or Klassiki, it's a big green one on the corner of the main street and the street u photographed

Got my nike compression vest too. Really fits nice and tight and easily hidden under a t shirt.

Better than the armour plated one you were wearing  :P

How's yer arm?  ;D ;D ;D ;D

I think the Nike compression vests were a good find and a good price. The standard mesh vest provided not only works out more about £42 , but the velcro straps are an absolute bas%^&*d on the shoulders, even tho' I put tissue underneath and cut the velcro slightly , I now have got grazing scar / blemish on my left shoulder ( which is starting to fade a bit now).

So I would advise anyone to get one of the Nike ones.

Yes ace, that picture was took just as we came over the bridge from Germany near the glass shop as you say.

Givemerespite, has no-one else said they are going or wanting to go? Be good for you to have someone with you to wander around with. You will wake up the next day at 8,greated by a sue pollard look alike with a massive plate of hams, cheeses dodgy looking/smelling pate's tomatoes etc and slices of bread, cup of tea but if you want just ask for coffee she'll go get it. Then 9ish you'll have your bandages removed and replaced as your checked by Baranski and then you'll have a chance to have a peak at your new chest. Then that's it, you feel no different than when you went in apart from a numb chest so your ready to go explore.

Good luck mate.

After reading abouts ians and marks experience that made up my mind, im definately going.  The dates ive been given are around the end of june/beginning of july.  Ill probably fly from east midlands or i could go from robin hood (doncaster).  As for the compression vest, im around a 44" chest so i think im going to buy the large one.  There are a few on ebay for around £25.  Could anyone just confirm that these are the ones

Ill also keep a dairy and post before and after pics, hopefully ill have as plesent time as you two.

  • I've had my final operation :)
Hi Guys,
I am glad that you are all confident and happy to travel to Poland for a quick 'nip-tuck'.  ;D
I am healing quickly though i am still very sore and bruised underneath but the shape is changing daily  ;D.

The question about the compression vest : I would buy the compression vest from the surgery and the one from Nike. The surgery one gives a little more compression and is great for indoor wear ( watching tv an sleeping0 . The nike pro one i wear when i am outside or uni ( 9-6) ...i even went to the nightclub in it last night and will be wearing it for a bbq tonight :) .

My lack of Language skills.......lol :) but don't fret, as i intend to purchase a polish phrase book and return sometime in the near future to snare myself a top wife  ;D

I will post some more after pics once the stiches are removed (Thursday). I have  no idea what to tell the nurse at the doctors...lol.

klokanik:Thanks for the kind words. I am thrilled to be finaly gyne free...i still can't believe it .All i have to do now is heal......i just wish i healed at the same rate as Clark Kent or Danger Mouse :) .

Givemeresprite : Not long now mate...before you know it will be all over :) . Will you be posting some before shots?....wearing gardening gloves or 60's tennis shorts ? ...lol

Yorkshirelad: Very wise choice mate. I hope you get a good date, and the weather is as glorious for all of you  as it was for me n ian :) .

Mark, now you must be working for the Polish tourism board  ;D I wouldnt mind an hairy assed gruff plumber to join me as long as he speaks the Queens english  ;D

Hi fedup, i can answer two of those questions for you. You pay in Euros to the surgery on arrival. No credit cards or stirling, just euros. Im paying 1525 euros all inclusive. And as for the implants according to the price list i got it'll be 1160 euros plus you have to pay for the actual implants, these vary from 750, 900 euros and a make by McGhan (i suppose its a good make) costs $1500. If you ask they'll send a price lift and also a DVD of the Breast implant surgery, just dont go eating anything before viewing though  :-X  ;)
Well im drunk and tired, only two more fridays left, just come around already  :) All the best guys.

what sort of implants you looking for mate? i know you are after chest but i take it you mean Pecs and not a nice rack?
