O.K look I found these boards for the first time about a week after my first op.

I had a gland excision first time no lipo.

NO SHlT i was back in the gym within 24 hours.

I trained chest again, (not too heavy,  but not too light) within I think about 48 hours post op  :o

I didn't get any swelling post op and the pain was minimal, so I figured, now's the time to get on with it...

P.S

I also developed the WORST CASE of post op scar tissue in my chest you could ever imagine.

There are no prizes for macho b-SHlT.....

It's up to you m8 but this time im defo leaving it a month before I hit the gym. First 2 weeks will be light, second 2 weeks moderate weights, with the plan of going all out 8 weeks post-op. But that's just my plan, with no scientific know how, just a little common sense.

Gruff

To me, it makes a lot of sense to lay off of the weights, because that directly effects the area.  But what do you think about cardio? Like maybe some cycling or eliptical machines where you can control the impact better?

Jones - Good questions, but you've got to show a little patience in your post op care.

Worst case scenario, you have to wait 6-8 weeks to lift, in the whole scheme of things, is that a big deal?

I think not.

You'll get there. Don't worry so much about it and just let yourself heal.
