I was wondering as a new visitor to this site, is there clinical data to determine that a man with gynecomastia has a greater probability of breast cancer in men? I have looked at a number of websites (all related to women which indicate so). Can't believe it if there is not clinical research to prove it. The old wives tale here just can suffice here!

40% of breast cancer suffers have gynecomastia.  The figure is a little misleading though because it does not mean many men suffer from breast cancer.

In fact breast cancer representes only 1% of all male cancers and less than 1% of cases of gynecomastia.

less than one percent sounds like good odds to me.  unless other symptoms showed up or somebody has a better reason, i don't plan to worry.
* a man is more than a body will ever tell
* if it screws up your life the same, is there really any such thing as "mild" gyne?
