how long till you can drink after surgery...new years a few days later

Don't take this as qualified advice, but I chose to wait until several days after I stopped taking the pain medicine.  Then I had a cold beer.  It was good.  ;)

Good advice...  Taking pain meds and consuming alcohol at the same time, is not a good thing.

I consider this to be the thin end of the wedge, if I let this coment slide, who knows what will be next?

Russian roulette with hard substance abuse and driving while snuffling a bottle of single malt are equally as bad, but I don't see you critisizing them.   

Lord If they went what pleasures would be left apart looting?

Because of the effect that Alcohol has on the Testes and the Liver; and the fact that reduced funtion of either could be a cause of Gynecomastia; I would be inclined to worry about anyone whos greatest worry post operatively is: How long before I can hit the bottle?
