Not much to update.  It looks/feels better.  the nipple area is filling out more.  Looked like someone took a dark pink magic marker to it before.

Swelling is down somewhat.

Went for a check up he said it looked great.

He showed me some before and after pics...also he took out over 1 liter which is like a 12oz coke can on each side of fat.  Glands about 2 inches in diameter, ugly nasty things.  Left only a sliver of gland to keep the nipple from deflating.  So I'm convined that he took alot.  Plus he said he's never had a problem with regrowth.

The before pics, wow, I didn't realize I was that bad.  I think it'll look alot better eventually...still alittle rough now.  I need to lose some fat on the rest of my body too.  Eventually maybe I'll be a good before/after set of pics for his web-site.

Pain is reduced for the most part.  Slept some on my stomach last night mostly by accident.  Very sore today because of it.  Hard to sleep on your back all the time.

Thanks...

The 12 oz. can size is about the amount that I need taken out....Im glad he is under the theory of removing everything; some doctors leave some fat in for contour....

Im going to set up a meeting; I wanted to lose some weight b4 the surgery But I am growing impatient  im 5'10 230....

Yeah, I would recommend losing weight before hand.

I am about 6'1" 250 or so.  Pretty muscular, or so I thought.  Used to work out alot.  Most people assumed I weighed alot less, I have kind of big legs I guess.

1 liter is about 36 ounces so he took 3 coke cans of fat off of me.  That is just stunning.

I look alot better, more normal.   It's amazing how much he took off and the skin isn't loose at all, not yet anyway.  Very tight.  When I flex it looks kind of weird, I think you can tell something isn't quite right, but maybe that will look better eventually.

Still numb even though I'm much less swollen.  Kind of like a novacaine shot at the dentist.  Feels weird if I have the vest off for more than 10 minutes.  Not sure when that goes away.  The skin is kind of hardening.  I guess that means the skin up top is adhering to the tissue below and growing together.  I'm hoping it isn't this numb forever though.

So I've gone from completely despondent when I took the vest off (day 3) (and ripped the drains out, probably not a good idea, but I don't think much delay in healing really), to kind of "it looks messed up but he seems very positive, and he's done a couple hundred of these" at 1 week, to kind of surprisingly optimistic at week 2.

I think at day 3 the tissue on top of my chest hadn't adhered to the tissue on the bottom...ie the fat had been cleared out of the middle portion but the two portions were kind of floating.  It looked like a nightmare "smushed" is how he termed it.  Now it's tighened up and filled out and looks alot better.   But it makes me wonder about photos from other doctors day 2 or 3 or whatever.  there's don't look as bad.  They look normal.  I guess they don't take as much off or induce as much trauma or something.

Still wondering about the numbness though.   I suppose it takes time after having such a radical surgery for everything to heal.  So I will be patient.

I can't imagine lifting weights before at least another month and a half or so.

Thanks for the update...

Ill trade numb nipples for 0 fatty tissue.....

After the surgery I am going to start doing cable cross overs.....I have refused to do any chest exercises because it made the gyno worse

I waited a while.  Months.

Nothing had really changed.

I'm wearing the vest a little looser, so it's not as binding/chafing.

Still a drag, but I think it's slowly getting better.

I can't get much exercise in this thing though, so I'm getting a little soft and out of shape.

It looks pretty good.  Most of the swelling is down...still feels a little numb if I walk around without the vest for 10 minutes or so.

It's amazing how tight the skin is and how much was taken off (fat).

Only problem is the nipples.  At first they were kind of shrunken smudges...looked terrible.  Now they've filled out some, although I think there's kind of a crease in them.

But when I flex they look "pinched".  Like the muscle underneath isn't filling them out, instead they're just kind of scrunched together.  Looks bad.  But maybe it will fill out in time.  I remember him saying at one month the nipples will start to fill out....it's 3 1/2 weeks.  So I can only wait.

If it's like that permanently, I'll be kind of bummed, but no surgery is perfect.  If I'm just standing there not flexing, it's pretty amazing really.  I used to have a 2" gland surrounded by a fist full of thick heavy moob fat.  That's gone now.  Skin is pretty tight over the muscle.  ONly problem is i have alot less muscle than I thought!

I also ordered an underworks tank top...I think it would be more comfortable than this vest.

Yeah, I may have him send me some pics...I don't have any myself, but he took some, to show the progress.

I'm a little out of shape.  I plan to have some more pics again in a few months...that should look night and day different from pre surgery.

He's worth looking at or talking to if you're near atlanta.  He's done a ton of these.  But I'll tell more as it heals.  Right now the nips are kind of scrunched when I flex.  Puckered.  They seem kind of 'empty' when they're just on my chest...nothing filling them out.  Much smaller than they were before too.....we'll see.

I went to DR.Jeffords two years ago ,.at the time I thought he was a great doctor, but in reality he screwed me and did a terrible half ass job on my Gynecomastia operation , my wife also had breast augmentation with Dr. Jeffords and she had terrible trouble for months (including her implant coming out of a 4 inch open wound, 2 years later she still has trouble, Dr. Jeffords was happy to fix the operation for my wife of course a fee of $5,000, the truth is Dr. Jeffords is a neoconservative dentist yes I said dentist trying to make it in high paying plastic surgery.. please let me know if you would like any more information about Dr. Jeffords. about this I'll be more than happy to explain in detail
its all good

Wow.  Doesn't sound good.

My own operation is still too early to tell I guess.  I do hate that I'm still in a vest at week 5...swelling is almost gone though.

Dr. Jeffords.... plain and simple hustled $14,000 out of myself and my wife, she has been to two other plastic surgeons who could not believe the work that was done, I have not went to another doctor for an evaluation as I am totally disgusted with the procedure...... I have sagging skin folds and would never dare  take my shirt off in public,
my wife also had lipo  under her chin with Dr. Jeffords and after two years, scar tissue is still visible and does not look any better if not worse..Also while she was having trouble with her left breast he would take a pair of scissors and insert them into her breasts and squeeze out what he called serotonin fluid ,she did this for a couple of weeks under great pain until one day the incision busted(at home) and her implant almost fell out, instead of going to the hospital he took her to his clinic with no anesthesia cut a massive hole and push the implant back up with his hand cut out the old tissue resewed it and to this day it is highly crooked, he refused to fix it unless we paid him $5,000
please let me make this clear I am not out to get Dr. Jeffords just think that the truth should be told!  In a world of high care in insurance costs , pharmaceutical ripoffs, and the American medical Association billion-dollar profits .... I would like to ask just one question
1.  What is the definition of value ?..............A..  I thought it was a difference between what a customer got and what a customer expected= value
I would like to post pictures before and after to get your true outlook on what should be done ...(any comment)?

Wow.  So other doctors thought he did a bad job?  Did your wife ever get it fixed?

How bad was your gyno?

I have some lumps and swelling that don't seem to go down.

I probably screwed up by going up there.  HE has done so many of these I thought he'd be an expert.  Doctors around here..it's not their specialty.
