Discoloration of areola

Hello guys
i had the gynecoamastia surgery 2 weeks ago
it was really sever .. so excess skin was removed ... and areola was reduced too
the surgeon told me that he will take the areola out and reduce it then cut the skin around the areola in a circular way
so it wouldn't be visible !
but when I woke up from the anasthesia he told me that he forced to cut the skin under the areola ...
it's so noticeable far .. however the skin is still swelling tiff

my big problem is that the areola is peeling around the wound and im afraid of losing them all !
anyone has anything to support me ! im really scared
