Wooohoooo!

3 months anniversary today! - that went by pretty quickly!

Took some more photos today to make up before-after-1-2-3-month comparison montage photos with, which hopefully find time to do later tonight.

Looking ok in a T or polo shirt - though still constantly checking chest in shop windows, car mirrors etc. half expecting moobs to suddenly reappear - wonder when I'll stop doing that?

Still wouldn't go topless yet due to creased right-hand side... Hoping that sorts itself out in next month or so.

More later!

Lmao good times , you'l never stop doing that everyone loves checking themselves out in shop windows youl just have a different reason for it. I remember after my op everyone thought id grown because i stood without a hunch.

Your nipple will sort itself mate dont sweat it, my left hand side was fucked for ages. 3 months isnt that long in terms of recovery you will see loads of improvement.

13 week photos:

Hi guys, sorry these are late, just been so busy lately!

Since the changes are slow now, I probably won't take any more photos until the 4 month mark (I didn't take any at 14 weeks which was Thrusday just gone)... hoping that by 4 months there will be some noticeable change over these 13 week (3 month) pics?!

You can see still issues going on with the right-hand nip - there's maybe a very small improvement as of today, or maybe that's just me getting used to it in the mirror?? - hence decided to leave it to 4 months to take next set of pictures, unless there is some major noticeable change before then of course.

Pretty much finished with wearing compression vests now - unless have a days heavy work to do, then I feel more confident having one on.

Week 13 photos (cont...)

here's another 3 shots from different angles - profiles and a shot with arms straight above my head which shows how different the two sides are currently. Left nip stretches out with skin normally, whereas the right one stays creased up. Hoping this eventually sorts itself out.

As you can see, scars under arms continue to fade - these photos have contrast enhanced, so they show up more on these than in real-life.

Also in these contrast-enhanced profile pics you can see the lumps and bumps at side of chest better - think they might have reduced very slightly in the 10 days since the pics were taken - again will be interesting to see the difference (hopefully!) at the 4 month point.

Your left side looks similar to my right side.

I'm just over 2 months post op now, and my right side looks normal with some good definition, but my left side still looks a bit too flat.

Yeh, we must remember that it is two seperate operations, one each side, so there is no real reason to expect them to heal at exactly the same rate etc., and it seems a lot of guys (like me) had more gland tissue one side than the other anyway which obvioulsy makes a difference, even though we might not have realised it before the op.

Just have to hope it all evens out in the longer term!

Keep posting those pics Donut, interesting to see if that side sorts itself out with time. Good result overall, if the nipple bounces back you will have a great profile.  :)

Yeh, I'll keep up with the photos, but like I say monthly now I think as week-to-week change is so minimal.

Still need to try and find time to attempt some kind of fitness regime  ::)  Also put on half a stone since surgery day, so concerted effort to get rid of that again before it gets out of hand starting 1st May I think  (too much bad food to eat up before then!)

Similar thing with me, the day after the op my chest looked nice and flat, but I had a lot of belly fat, and I wasn't happy with that so I was losing weight since that day, so I would look lean, and I've done it within 2 months. Now I'm almost happy with my body composition, just need to lose the tiny gut so my abs show properly, and drop to around 9% body fat. I'm currently at 11%.

I had my follow up appointment with Karidis today at 9 weeks post op, he said "take your top off and show me the goods" lol and he was happy with the results and said the right  side of my chest just has muscle now and said I need to start working out my left chest more because I'm right handed so that was why my right chest got toned quicker.

He also told me about Levick's technique about just using the armpit, and he told me he argues with him that the incisions don't leave any visible scarring, he was looking at my incisions and they were hardly there.

He told me to see him one more time after the summer in a couple months time.

Glad to hear all is well! - I must find time to do some muscle-building too.

Undoubtedly Dr. Karidis is a highly competent surgeon, he was my second choice! - I just didn't want the additional risk of visible direct surgery scars remaining on my chest, however small that risk was... So I eliminated it altogether by choosing Mr Levick.

From what I've read, surgery scars are a lot to do with the skill of the surgeon of course, but also some people naturally heal better than others, and generally the younger and healthier the patient, the more invisible their scars are likely to be.  Don't think anyone would notice mine now unless pointed out, as they are fading well and in any case are in a natural fold in the skin - clever!

16 weeks post op today...

Not sure there's been a great deal of progress over past couple of weeks - I'm resisting the temptation to take photos until next Thursday, which will be 4 months, in the hope I might be able to spot some progress by then, else I'll be a bit annoyed/depressed about it!!

I wouldnt put time limits on yourself mate, itl eat you up settings goals that you really dont have control of. Its good logging stuff, and i recommend it because down the line you can look back on it, but at the time its kind of like staring at the kettle waiting for it to boil.

Your looking good mate, whatever happens that nipple fold can be resolved even if it involves a bit of a revision which i honestly dont think it will come to. Try and take your mind off it as much as you can i know everything is multiplied when recovering but once you feel better these 4 months will seem like nothing.

4 Months post-op:

Hi everyone, today marks 4-month anniversary of my surgery! - time flies...

Taken some more pics today to compare with 3 months. Doesn't seem to be a great deal of change really. Creased nips still an issue. Maybe swelling under arms has gone down a little bit more? - as in the outline of pec muscles from armpit to nip is perhaps very slightly more obvious... but maybe I'm just trying to find 'improvement' that isn't really there??

There seems to be more shadow on the 4 months pics too - which makes left hand side look more pronounced than it really is.

Life has been ridiculously hectic the past month. No nearer finding time to do any form of excercise, working crazy hours, and inevitably eating the wrong stuff at the wrong times of day! - none of which is very good I'm the first to admit.

All that said, I do go out and about in T-shirts and am loving it  ;D  ;D - just wouldn't go topless still... will I ever? - who knows!

Anyway, on with the photos:
