I am a student trying to survive off the student loan , so as you can imagine i have already moved from heinz baked beans to Neto's OWN  :p . I am starting to go orange , which is a total bonus as you are not allowed on the sunbed after the op
I have been given the dates of the 15th and 16 th of December. I have to book my flights today ......so the flight will dictate the operation date....
Can't wait........I will be the only MO-Fo who is walking round the north east with no top on in the middle of january .;.......no that's not right, nobody wears tops up here anyway .

that guy frm chezc republic had brill results, go for that surgeon.  but do yr rearch as much as possible,  email that guy as well by sending him a PM to find out more about his surgery experience.

i mean yea sure surgery out here in uk is expensive, im not working at moment so i feel every penny spent.  if u can save money abroad why not got 4 it.  BUT as long as u done yr homework on the surgeon, the place yr getting it done frm, dnt just walk in their blind.
another bit of advice dont belevie to much wot they send u on brochures , cd, etc.    they will all be hyped up.

go to other forums, google it, wotever u can, RESEARCH more...

I am going on my lonesome, i think i should be ok as the airport is a short distance from my house and when i arrive over there i will be met by some guy who takes me to the clinic ( and back to the airport when finished, so hopefully he will help with my bags...lol).

I am going to pack really light and seen as i will only be there three days i don't think i will need much . I have two different types of bag , so i am a little confused which one to take....i have a little mine one with wheels and a long extendable handle and also have a hold-all.
Which do you think would be best?

To tell the truth, the only people who know i am going to get the operation is you lot .

I feel excited about it though as it will be new freedom for me and also a little break . I hope everythig goes well and i start an influx of people to the east for surgery.....

its gna be difficult carrying any sort of bag back with u. cos after surgery yr chest will feel like u are carrying weight on u, and yr movement will bes restricted cos of this.
best thing to do is take a bag wit u full of yr shittest clothes, that u dnt wanna wear or see again.  when yr coming back just leave the bag at the hotel, so u dnt travel back with nothing but yr passport.

I am now 100% going to poland.....booked my ticket this afternoon ( £100 with easy jet) . The guy has got 24 years experience and is the senior surgeon

Dam shame you have already had it!!! if we both went and left our gear behind at the hospital we could make it look like a disapearing act....ha ah ah, you can just imagine interpol flying all over looking for two brits and two terrorists who have half-inched their passports .

It's Ace from B'ham. Before I had the guts to post, I spent about a monts reading posts and have followed your trail.

So at last you;ve decided for Poland. I wish u the best man, I hope the results are as good as the Czech place.

Hi Ace,
Yep finaly decided on poland.....there is some really good clinics in Hungaryand the Czech Republic ect ...but it is far easier for me to travel to Poland from Newcastle and i believe this clinc to be on a par with my other choices ,so i am not too nervous or apprehensive about the surgery .
I think spending your Xmas bonus  in eastern Europe is a great idea , if this surgery goes well ( which i am 99% sure it will) it will hopefully open the doors to others on this site who find surgery in the U.K extortionit .
It's a shame i did not put more thought into my plans and arranged it earlier ,as i would have been able to find some fellow travellers off this site.......Surgery and sexy eastern european women . .

I have opted for local as the thought of being put to sleep is a little scary!

Well , i only have 11 days to wait and then i will be on my way to Poland for a nip & tuck. It feels like the days are dragging ,but with each new day comes more fear .I have sent the clinic an email requesting local rather than general ; i think local will be less scary and i can keep an eye on him just incase he wants to take a peak at me sausage and eggs . One thing i am worried about is xmas day , i will be beack from poland on the 17 th but that only leaves me 8 days till xmas.....do u think my chest will be up the the knocks from excited family kids......i always throw them abaout....this time it will be a big no......just worried incase they take me down like a pride of lions......
How much should i have healed within 10 days.....i have very mild gyne, i am 26 and average fitness....cheers

What an experience and well worth it........
I landed in Berlin and got a taxi to the german & polish border ( 40 mins) to a little calles Slubice .
The clinin was very modern and the staff were very welcoming and put me straight at east....( i have been private over here before due to an industrial accidet , but this clinic was 20 times better .
Has the op...just lipo no excission.....
don't really no what else to write as i am a little tired...but if you have any questions just ask.........
oh, i got my vest for 20 quid too...... ......
I might book myslef in for something else just so i can be waited on again........

Glad you see it all went fine under the knife Mark, and you're back in one piece. Why no excission though? Does that clinic ONLY do lypo. Or did the PS say there was no gland at all? Seems strange that's all. Do you have some before and after pics as well? Because I'm considering going down the same route if I can't bring myself to pay levick! If you don't have your before n after could you post some that you got from the PS?

And what did your chest look like? Alot better or hard to tell because of swelling and bruising?

Chest looks better but hard to tell with the swelling.......He had a good feel about and siad lipo is best......this didn't scare me a NHS said the same after ultra- sound . He removes some of the gland with the lipo stick.....
