Nipple area definitely looks reduced now, no more gland stretching it out of shape n size.  It used to look similar when erect but flacid, was horrible and rounded and raised....eeew!

Cheers darkstar !  Yeah, I'm ready for it I reckon, looks pretty typical to me.  Was just happy my nipples were still there tbh ;)

Quick Head's Up - 9 Days Post Op

Things looking altogether better when I take the garment off for a shower, no cause for alarm.  Although when I took my vest off, my nipples were flat as they could be, looked a bit weird but then they both started to enter states of erection/flaccidity , so looks like they still work ;)

Just mild discomfort from the garment, under my arms etc but what can you expect from an ill fitting compression vest other than it to dig in here and there, just proves it must be doing it's magic.

Got some weird mozaic style bruising going on there :)

Ha, you should get it tattooed on your other arm. That'd be a story to tell!

Think I will keep the pics to remind me, hidden away somewhere.  But definitely going to get more  ink work done, now that there may be the chance I dare go topless in public, sans gut of course ;)

10 days Post Op - Have to say it's flown by!

My mind has been kept occupied with this whole experience, the thought of new ones to come and the regrets of ones of old.  Speaking of which, I kinda regret not having this done sooner but even that in itself is a bit of a moot point.  I think when anyone gets this surgery done, it's at exactly the right time, fate and all that.  I never had the time or money before or more importantly, the balls.

Been sleeping a whole lot better, keep waking when I want to try and turn on my left side though, understandably.  Vest is mad itchy, this would be torture in
the summer, so glad I waited. I'm not hanging out of it everywhere either which helps I guess, the only discomfort is where the edges go around under my arms, easily alleviated with a sock or if you have the blue padded dressing hanging around and it's clean, I used some of that as I had very little oozing but could deffo feel bubbles in my chest on the left side when I pressed it right after surgery, the nurse said it could be water from when they wash you down, think she was just being kind and it was built up fluid escaping, eew ;)

Not sure as what to do about the vest for the best.  Approaching two weeks now and there are some conflicting theories, even Karidis' literature contradicts itself.  From what I gather, you can take it off for up to 2hrs per day if you feel you need to (I only take off for about 30 mins for showering and checking)  After two weeks you can then go to reducing the period of having to wear it by 8 hrs for two weeks maximum, then that is it for the garment.

Going to read back through a few logs to glean the info

Looking good mate, bruising tends to make things look a little more extrme with all the funky colours you've had going on lol

When you gotta be back to work? You got a very physical job?

2 weeks Monday until my consultation, booked my travel, can't wait to finally move things on for myself

Don't have to be back to work at all really.  In between jobs right now, perfect time to have had this done for me.  The bruising is receding nicely, not as painful on the flanks either, can scratch them now without it hurting.

After the consultation it all gets a bit real so after that, you're on your way really.  It was just a formality for me, I would have had the surgery there and then if they'd let me, but it's nice to see the place and meet Dr. Karidis and if you're a Northern country mouse like me, visit the big smoke ;)

Awesome stuff, the consultation really gets the ball rolling. At least it did for me. I had my consultation and 3 weeks later I'm here in a compression vest! Keep us updated!
