Thank you Pferdestärken for that post, that actually makes a lot of sense.  Like many on here, the cost of the surgery is a big issue for me and I was hoping that maybe I could make it more affordable but I see what you are saying now and it makes complete sense.  

I'll just have to wait till I can afford it.  My credit is not that good right now otherwise I would just put it on a credit card.  BTW, I'm in the Chicago area if anyone knows a doctor close.  I'm a little hesitant to go all the way to VA to Dr. Bermant.
