I am 10 days post op now, my surgeon removed the bandages a few days ago. My incisions started to itch real badly but it's OK now. I've also been sleeping on my side but experimented with sleeping on my belly as I usually do last night, I woke up  to some swelling on the right side. My surgeon didn't tell me anything about sleeping so I am wondering if anyone here was told to sleep on their back for a few weeks post surgery?

I was told three weeks. I slept in a recliner. Otherwise I know I would've flipped on my stomach during the night.

If you put 2 pillows close beside your body in your bed, It is almost impossible to turn in your sleep. (tip from Dr Jacobs)

Hmm, surprised they didn't tell me anything about that then... I got some swelling on my right side after I woke up and I slept primarily on my right side. Hope it isn't anything serious.
