I graduated up to having my own Torrid measuring tape! 💞

Assistant manager handed me one today and said it's mine to hold. 🤗

What a long crazy week, I can't wait to start the weekend. OK, I am done complaining, back to work.

Sometimes, the forum goes a bit quiet. That ain't the case lately!

On the days that I do log on, it's usually during the evening my time, just like I did about 24 hours ago. Next morning I usually lurk and read through the 'Most recent posts' to see what has been written either in response, or as part of other discussions going on at the time. This morning, I saw that 50+ posts had been made in the 12 hours or so between logging off and lurking this morning! That's gotta be a record!

Gee, we're a chatty lot, aren't we? 🤪

Busy morning, slept in. The CNA knocked me up this morning and I didn't have anything ready yet. I'm a bit of a slacker today. Quick breakfast was corn tortillas with hummus and roasted fish, quite scrummy.

I just finished putting myself together and she has left. She did help me pack my lunch for today.

Oh my, found out this morning that my email and password were compromised on two other sites I frequent (not this one).
I was able to update my password on one of them, but unable to do so on the other. I deleted that account just too be safe.

Busy morning so far. 😐

Update: the site administrators walked me through changing my password on that site too. I didn't have to permanently delete any accounts. 🤗

Oh my do I despise seatbelts!

It seems the shoulder strap goes right into the cleavage and just digs in.

Anyone else notice that?

THAT was one of the first things I noticed when starting to grow.
Wound up using a folded dish towel for padding that became a permanent fixture inside the vehicle. Spouse was not able to understand the need until much later when the size ballooned to a C cup. Then it became amusing.

Since I sold that car and the new one’s angles and my ‘configurations’ conformed to provide a more comfortable driving experience,
Life is better.

Its the riding along the nipple that gets me.

4 surgeries on my legs are scheduled for every Thursday next month, and a follow-up ultrasound the following month.

I have two weeks to get my blood sugars below 200 or they will be canceled. The PA says she knows I can do it. I don't need insulin if I just control my diet.

I will meet with the dietitian again tomorrow to go over portion sizing.

I have a friend that was around 200. He cut the carbs and is now 97.
He cut sugar along time ago to get below 200.

I cut sugary snacks years ago. I have cut potatoes and other starchy foods as well. I have come from the 600's down to the 300's.
This morning for breakfast I ate a couple beef hotdogs links (no bread) with a bit of mustard. My blood sugars afterwards were 233.
I think a strict crash diet with portion control might get me below 200 for surgery.

Good luck Birdie, I hope all the surgeries go smoothly and a fast recovery.

I hope things go well for you Birdie.  I know you can get there.

I cut out all soda / pop in my early 20's. All gluten 5 years ago.  All alcohol 2 years ago and consume small amounts of sugary foods.  I can keep my levels in the low to mid 90's.  I know what your thinking and yes, I can still be a bit of fun at parties.
