Swelling

hey guys,

I am about 2.5 weeks post op and was wondering if someone can help confirm that it takes upto 2-3 months for swelling to go away?

And also, I have a clear difference between the two sides - way more swelling on the right as compared to the left - is that normal?

From what I've been told by my surgeon it will take up to 9 months for everything to settle properly. There is usually an asymmetry as it's very difficult to get both sides equal. There's nothing to worry about as you're only 2.5 weeks post op. My surgery is tomorrow so I'm not speaking from experience, just what I've been told beforehand
