hammer i think sometimes you forget how it is to be young and superficial again. the majority of people who come here are young and want support and surgery advice. not to mention i highly believe this condition is worse for kids in this day and age, compared to when u were young. for a couple reasons i think this:
social media and the internet in general caused a lot more bullying and expectations of how the average male/female should look like. i understand ur message and in a few years i bet i'll be preaching the exact same message to youngsters who are unhappy with their bodyfat.. althouh i highly doubt i'll be preaching gyno acceptance, because for me it was more of a gender issue than a body issue. i want to be a guy! and i'm not going to just pretend i have no issue like i did when i was in my young teens and unaware of the condition...
being oblivious to it made it no better, teenagers point it out and our personality development process usually causes us to be very self conscious and introverted as teenagers... so just try to remember, u see gyne as no big issue anymore because to u it isn't a big issue. but the younger we are the worse we suffer

and about the pica in first post... seems like that guy only got lipo and no excision

As far as bulling we were bullied in my day to. But back then you could be a victim, or a victor! Now days you no longer have the rights to stand up for yourself as we did back then! When I went to school I carried a knife and cleaned my finger nails with it during a lecture. We brought our shotgun to school for gun safety class and if the big kid picked on you, you had the right right to kick the crap out of him!

I support surgery! I'm having surgery on my back in Dec again! If I even knew why I had big breast in my teens and there was a way to remove them then maybe I would have, but I didn't really know why or anything about that I just knew they were bigger! If you read my story and think about life you may see why I do say there are bigger things, but you will have to try and look into the future very hard if you don't have a family yet.

As fas as the guy is the picture, I just saying it is up to him to decide if he needs more surgery not anyone else! This is still a free country, isn't it?

Do you want me or Dlink to tell you who you may date, or marry or maybe what kind of job training you will have or would you rather decide that yourself?

Hammer is here for the same reason that many others are here. He has a valid viewpoint and, in his case, a healthy acceptance of his condition. Not everyone who comes to this site is a good candidate for surgery and indeed not everyone even wants it.

The originator of the site was not a Surgeon, he was a Psychologist. In fact he had the condition for a very long time after founding the site before he had surgery himself and ultimately because his breasts were quite large it took two procedures. His aim was to provide information about Gynecomastia as a service to any and all who had the condition whether they chose to have surgery or to cope with the condition.

I know all about his story. I also know that he is much happier now that the problem is fixed.

I did not know there were a group of people on here trying to ignore or downplay the problem. What I have learned from this site is that if you have gynecomastia, then you are mostly likely screwed from any natural options to solve the problem especially when enlarged gland is involved.

Men getting down to skin and bones and still having gynecomastia,etc..

Perhaps this advice would be more fitting for someone who looks perfect but may psychologically think they have gynecomastia when they don't.

However when someone has a problem they are trying to fix and its being downplayed and brushed off, its does not come across well and may not be the right advice for someone who is serious about trying to fix a problem.

Thank you, I could not have said it better myself. You are exactly right on all accounts.

I need to start living life like a rock star not some kind of deform frankenstein. I am a Man not some kind of hybrid man but a man! There should be no doubt.

Thank you for pointing out what I thought was perfectly obvious to everyone in here!

I would like to live life without the need to threaten people with a knife.
The guy in the picture is irreverent, it was posted here to evaluate the skill level of the surgeon not advise the patient.

Why did the doctor leave the job half done?

The man obviously has a very bad case of gyno even after the surgery was complete.

The reason its posted on here is so I can figure out how I can make sure that gynecomastia is not left half done and possible figure out why the surgeon did this in order to avoid this mistake.

For whatever reason, the surgeon did not seem to evaluate the correct amount of fat needed to be removed ahead of time or could not detect this during the surgery.

I don't know how to make the connection of asking for someone left is gynecomastia is a candidate for a revised surgery to common core or overreaching government interference or lack of freedom.

I have heard of holocaust deniers but never gynecomastia deniers!

This web site is about helping those with gynecomastia.  Acceptance is one solution and surgery is another.  I appreciate the views and comments from the older group, which I am a part, as they add more balance and reality to the forum.

Dlink, what are your motives?  Mind games?  It appears you are belittling those that have decided to accept their condition.

Dlink, I reason I said in my day we could carried a knife is not that we would threaten someone with it like your generation does being the reason that they aren't allowed to even have tooth picks in school and we could bring or guns for hunting after school as we knew better! We did not shoot or stab people, we joined the military and served our country when there was a real call to duty (not a game)! We also hunted for our food, we worked hard and developed our chest for what is called pecs.

My motives are to learn and gain knowledge on how gynecomastia works, how to fix it, and how to pick the best doctor I can so I can solve the problem and not be disfigured or require multiple revisions. The motives  I had trouble with was Hammer who kept telling me the person did not have gynecomastia because everything was relative and in the eye of the beholder.

Many people say, " why don't you go to Doctor X" and my answer would be " because he seem to only leave the job half done"

I understand that some results are better than others, but this is just ridiculous amount of gynecomastia left here. Its even creating its own shadow from the large size. This picture was on the website on a recommended doctor as one of the better works.

I did not realize there were a group of people on this board which were dedicated to denying the gynecomastia problem. Perhaps if he would have explained where he is coming from, it would have helped me understand but I felt like I was trying to ask question with someone who is trying to dodge the question.

Do you remember when they asked NSA's James Clapper if the NSA is collecting information on American citizens and he was like " NO SIR, We don't do that here at the NSA,etc.."

Then the whistle blower came out and released all the information showing how the NSA is spying on us,etc...

The guy's response was " oh, I thought collect means that a person physically reads it not that the information was being stored and I did not think anyone would ever find out"

Well, that is how I felt when I was asking about an obvious revision case of gynecomastia and what could made a better result and I am getting responses like " oh, its in the eye in the beholder, who is to say that he still has gynecomastia,etc.."

It feel like he is just trying to play mind games with me. Perhaps trying to trick me into thinking the gynecomastia is not there.

Its like the emperors new cloth story, were the emperor and people surrounding him were convinced that he was wearing great new clothing but he was being manipulated by a con artist.

If anyone was playing mind games it was hammer trying to tell me the person in the picture did not have Gynecomastia when in fact he obviously did. It was not even like a mind case were you could be 50/50 if it were gynecomastia. It was a very obvious case of gynecomastia as you can see from the picture.

I just wish he would have explain what type of member and missing he was trying to accomplished.

it looks like incorrect before / after pics to me....

Both pics on the left look like the same guy / same on the right. Yes for £5k I would want a more aggressive approach to the surgery.

Its the same guy but the before and after pictures are taken at different time periods possible months apart.

There are small specs and imperfections which I see on both the before and after pictures which mean they are the same guy.

I agree that the results are seriously lacking which everyone seem to recognize except Hammer.

Hi Dlink,

You know, I worked in group health for decades, software, consulting and auditing.  We dealt with member complaints.   Only the member, or representative, can make a complaint of dissatisfaction.  The PERSON themselves is the responsible party.  I would have complained had that kind of job had been done on me.  But you know, satisfaction is a very individual thing.  It wasn't up to me to decide if somebody "should" or "should not" complain.  It wasn't up to me to negotiate the complaint.  I just counted and categorized them and scored them, reported on them and made sure management dealt with them.

You appear to be getting all bent out of shape over a disagreement of theoretical satisfaction standards on a third party case.  And you appear to expressing some hostility towards some of us older geezers who have decided that the quality of our manhood is not determined by the size of our breasts or any other body parts.

You can change what you think about something, including yourself.  People do it all the time.  Among other things it's called education or it's called experience.  Sometimes it gets done to you, like a guy running a red light did it to me, gave me a life changing experience, not one I liked on the whole.  Age, gravity and entropy win over us all in the end.
