Yea, it's raining here as well and my old bones are feeling it. Hope you have a good time shopping. I would not go out into the shopping world this close to Christmas. But then I do not do well in crowds!

I love it! It would look great with a red flannel shift, you know like the men wear ;).

Hmm, I'm thinking a sheer white blouse and a black vest. Let the plaid pattern peek out a bit. 🤭

Gyne as a Jr. HS kid …. Sure
Emotional roller coaster from it… resolved
Normal life till 30 … yep
Crash with a killer tumor… Pheochromocytoma
Survived and lived well and married well
Covid vaxxed and WTF … new tumors and
return of gyne and parathyroid tumors
along with unexplained hormonal shifts
Currently most have returned to normal
but for  T and E… now at unmeasurable
levels… worried re bone loss … sure
Are the doctors concerned? Not so much.
Got some new ones who listen but the
health care industry for Medicare patients
seems to not care. Am repeating MRI
& ultrasound of thyroid in January
as prolactin levels are high … fleeting
testicular pain rarely and they are now
hard and shrunken .
Genetic testing reveals no RET gene active
to explain MEN 2 diagnosis
Anyone out here have a similar trajectory
to help the doctors?
The length of time this has been taken
has me concerned about osteoporosis .
Medicare won’t pay for a DEXA scan
for another 2 years and the dentist report
from X rays noticed a loss in his exam.
Is this just my area or is this a national
trend to ignore seniors?
Happy I still remain in very good spirits
as the two conditions have depression
listed as some of the top symptoms.
We shall see…
Regards, Bob

I have noticed the same. My medical services seem to get much worse as I age. Almost like 'keep them comfortable' services only.

Good morning! 💞

Decided upon my pink turtleneck I picked up at Torrid. 💃

Torrid 'skinny' trousers and shoes, now I'm ready for another day at the day-centre.

My push-up bra looks great under the clingy fabric. 💞

Maybe I should go on the other side of the forum and ask, "is this gyno?" 😂

Have a great day!!!! 💞💃💞

Well it looks like the forum is back up on all my devices now. Just in time for me to sit very still while waiting for my doctor appointment.  I had a very bad fall off the back of my pickup truck and banged my head. They did a CT and found a very bad spinal compression but they wanted me to sit in the er for 4 to 5 hours and I just couldn't do anymore.  So I came home with instructions to not do anything.

I know what they wanted because I have been down this road before about 30 years ago.
It really means that I will be on bed rest for 2 to 3 months. That is gonna be hard for me because I have so much to do.  But they say this time is much worse and very dangerous for me if I try to do anything.

Please keep me in your prayers.

Well this is certainly not the best way to unload a washing machine. But I'm fine , we did spend a few hours at Urgent Care and then to the hospital for a CT scan. My head's fine but when they scan my neck they found something . They said it was a spinal compression and that I have to be seen by a specialist . They wanted me to go to the emergency room but it was a 5-hour wait and frankly I just didn't have it in me so on Tuesday I'll start calling the specialist make an appointment . But if you have to unload your truck for some reason don't try to stand on the edge of the tailgate in the rain because it's slick trust me I'm speaking from experience .

I'm just sore and can't move well, but they don't want me to move much anyway.

It's almost 5am here and the loud music was finally turned down next door. 😳

Not even my earplugs were enough to get much sleep in last night. Today is not going to be a fun day, and I didn't even drink last night. 😐

Charli,
Hang tough but be aware that bed rest
can favour blood clots, perhaps a course of aspirin of around 80 mg each day to mitigate that risk should be considered.

I wish you a speedy recovery.

Get well soon, Charli.

In better news I have also discovered that on my desktop computer, the forum now magically appears as it did in the good ol' days, almost. The row of emojis visible when you compose a post look like rubbish, but everything else seems to work just fine. I was getting to the stage of walking away because of the issues I was having accessing it and deciphering what people had written. Looks like I just might hang around for a bit now. Oh well. ;)

I just opened the forum a couple minutes ago in Fiefox and mine is working great also.  I hope all these little bugs with the forum display are resolved now.  I had to quit coming here for the last week or so because of it.  it is good to be back in action.
