Ian when you say lower weight more reps, what do you do?

e.g. 3 sets of 20 on half your max weight?

I do about 70% of my max weight for 4 sets. It depends on what i'm doing but 20 reps should be the goal without struggling to lift but you should still get the burn.

I know that  ;D Just trying to get a picture of what I'll be able to lift the first time I go the gym since OP. I'm waiting until 4 weeks post op before I do any gym work or heavy excercise.

Ha ha, sounds like a plan my friend ! But what date is the world cup final ? ...lol and the victory parade through london  ;D .
You should add your prospective dates to the going to poland thread...then others can see the dates more easily and contact you

The hard tissue under the nipple is just swelling and scar tissue. I would start massagen at around two weeks post op :) .
Got any pics yet mate?
My right left side is perfect, i feel i have atniy bit of gland on the right though, but i am hoping this is just still swelling as i am only still in the 4th week of healing :) >

Hello

Mark et al, been sometime since i actually posted. I was at one time planning on having the surgery done ealier in the year but things kinda transpired as such that pretty much became impossible (work, family woes and general life stuff  you could say :( ).

Well things are looking somewhat more rosy at the moment and providing no last minute hiccups I have myself booked in for the end of this month , so am wondering if you kind chaps can help answer a few questions.

1) I dont actually have the tickets booked yet, has anyone got any recommendations pref to fly from North.
I would say Liverpool or Manchester would be ideal.

2)I could do with some help with what to pack and also what to carry it in, was thinking of just taking a small roller bag i could wheel along instead of carrying after surgery (i think i should be able to take this onboard with me), but what else will i need....amount of clothes and such.

3)Can i wear the nike compression vest instead of buying the surgery compression vest after i have had the surgery.

4)How much should i take along in Euros and am thinking of just using the local post office to exchange money, unless anyone thinks i should go elsewhere.

5)Travel insurance, just go with the bog standard one offered when i book flights or other.

6)What is the cost of staying in the clinic as opposed to the hotel across the road.

7)Will i need to stay for several days or should i leave after 2-3 at most.

Cant think of anything else at moment, its late ;D wll add an update tomorrow with pics hopefully.

I also just wanted to say a big thanks to Mark again for putting us in touch with this place, would never have dreamed of actually going abroad ever were it not for his original Poland thread :) cheers bud.

One last thing anyone else going this Month?

Hi there, i'll try and answer some of the questions..

1. Looks like easyjet from Liverpool is your best option. Book em early to get them nice and cheap.
2. Small bag is all you need. Take enough clothes for each day after surgery as you will be up and wanting to get out and it will be hot there so nice and light tops.Don't really need alot of anything else apart from something to read or a laptop for a film.
3. I would wear the compression vest they supply to start as it is alot tighter, for the first 2 weeks.
4. I used the post office and got more money changed than i knew i needed just incase, then changed it back when i got home.
5. I used the insurance offered when i booked the flight, it's fine.
6. It's cheaper to stay in the hotel but you need to stay in the clinic after the op so they can keep their eye on you.
7. I personally, felt like i could of gone home the day after the surgery, but 2days is easily enough and you really are just glad to be heading home.

Not heard of anyone else going yet but hopefully there will be.

Hope it all goes well.

Just wondering when people booked the surgery did they go through Change4You (england representative) or esculap or did you contact poland direct?

Loking to book soon a nd just need a bit of advice :)

Also, just wondering which airline people have used to get there? Can fly from either east-midlands, birmingham, manchetser or liverpool.

Hi ya all
Just let you know after many years of talking to my doctor and them saying to me I was overweight another doc said I had gynecomastia.., then they sent me to see a doctor at the local NHS hospital who said  GET LOST AND GO PRIVATE we don’t to operations for that ? And the bigger shock after was the £4000 price I was told.

Now just emailed Germany so this is the start hopefully of the new life and not wearing thick clothing in the summer lol

Any comment form anyone??? how long it take to get appointments etc???/
