I think they probably know from the start. For what its worth the only people who've ever directed unkind comments to my face  about my moobs are other men.

Sad as it is looks do play an important factor in dating and relationships and studies show that on the whole people pair up with others who are rated about the same in attractiveness as they are.

However if you were to have the case where an otherwise normal looking guy was dumped or overlooked by a woman just because of moobage then I would say to that guy that he was better off without her in his life.
