Well, I was asked if I would voluntarily cut my hair off to avoid future confusion here at the day-center.

The answer was of course NO!

I guess all the more reason to continue to grow it out

You need to document every conversation and ask for everything to be in writing. This forum has much of what was going on and you should use it as documentation for what they're trying to pull. I would assume if they kick you out you're going to sue their asses off! So you'll need the documentation for court

Maybe if you put it in a ponytail wearing a ball cap might appease them. That’s how I wear mine to show some sort of masculinity. Mine is a John Deere hat...lol

I do wear a ponytail about half the time, no John Deere hat. 

I have a CAT hat on the hat rack, but I'm not going to "hide" my hair. 
 
I am wearing button-up blouses to appease the revised dress code, but that is as far as I am willing to bend.

I'm surprised that my pink blouse and Capris didn't raise a stir at the day-center. I was kind of expecting a scolding especially with a push-up bra underneath. 

I guess pushing the boundaries here on dress code is finally starting to move the fence some. 🤭

So far it's a great day this morning as I reflect upon the week. 

Still waiting to address some medical issues, but I have much less pain today so they might be resolving themselves. One could hope at least. 

Showed my daughter a picture of my ponytail, and she LOVED it. So my hair growing out further is being well accepted by family. 

Stagnate dress codes at the center I found don't address COLORS, so I am incorporating more pink into my wardrobe and getting away with it. My recent "required" wardrobe expansion cost me in excess of $200.00, so I'll be "window shopping" for the rest of the month. 

I have had a better week than expected, so I'm doing great.

Good afternoon, 

CNA brought over her "mending" for me to sew up on my machine. The crotch came unstitched on her skort. 

Did a double stitch because it's a high stress area and was done in less than 5mins. 

My reward was a frozen yogurt. 

It's always nice to help people out.

I currently use a Singer HD as it does everything I need.

I do find that on bra material a "roller foot" works best in the fine fabrics. I'm going to make my own bra next, just to be able to say I did it. ☺️

I have a jenome as I said before, and it has a flower setting on it. 
I am going to try that on some thin leather soon to see how it comes out.
