4 Weeks Post-op:
Doesn't look that much different from 3 weeks really. Every morning though have had nipple creases in different places, especially on the right-hand side. Sometimes at the top, sometimes at the bottom. Seems to be a little bit of swelling of the "non-nipple" bit of chest that causes the creasing. All part of the "roller-coaster" no doubt. Annoying though!
Lumps and bumps still everywhere, but ease a little bit with a lot of massage. Lymph glands are down a bit more from the 3-week mark, but can still feel them.
Tonight I am going to leave the vest off overnight, and see how things look in the morning. Advice from Mr Levick was compression 24/7 for a month, then half-days for another month or more ideally. I think the advice from
Dr. Karidis for his patients is 24/7 for 2 weeks followed by half-days for another 2 weeks? Some guys say things start to improve more quickly once the vest comes off, and with others it has resulted in a sudden big load of swelling, so I will keep a close eye on things. My work is a little bit physical (which I've avoided for past month) - so for me I think it is going to be better to wear in the day for the extra support, and off during night.
Not much difference to notice in the photos, except lookin a bit more creased perhaps since week 3. Also a weeks worth of chest hair stubble lol
Not sure it is worth making up the comparison images this time, might wait until next week or week after when there is (hopefully) a more visual difference. I might also take more photos in 2-3 days time to mark the 1 month point, and then take a new set each month to eventually make up a month-by-month comparison, which will probably be more useful.
Anyway - here we go!
