After 2 and a half weeks I gave up with compression altogether as the swelling was so minimal by that point. However, for the moment you're going to have to put up with it.

I'm so glad it went well mate! It's all over now, you're gyno is gone! How did it feel seeing it gone for the first time? I imagine it's a bit of a mixed bag of feelings. That sucks about the vest, but you can always switch to the Macom one once you get back, maybe that'll be easier :) Post some pics if you can, would love to see the before and afters. How is the Ibis btw, and how is Sczecin in general? Like the shops and getting around and stuff?

Well done Damien and welcome to the other side!

Glad it went well for you.

You could get yourself a different compression garment?  I bought one from Macom - there is a discount code if you enter 'mybreast' at the checkout.  You will probably need one to wear underneath clothing etc anyway and the material is very different from the wrap that the surgery provides.

Good luck with the recovery and keep us updated.

Sup Guys,

Cheers all for the nice comments. It really means a lot. 2 weeks for wearing a compression vest! Damn, well i have no choice! I have actually got a compression garment and wore it today with no problems. Will be waering this for the meantime. For some reason my laptop will not let me post messages and I will need to transfer the pics to my mobile before I can post them on here. Will do this first thing tomorrow guys.

Its such an amazing feeling. Knowing u dont have gynaecomastia any more.

It certainly is a great feeling.

How are you finding Szczecin?

Hey Zack, Szczecin is really nice. I took several walks today around town and I am really enjoying this town. I love how the cheap the food is. There is absolutley no chance of starving over here.

I have had a bit of swelling on my LHS, and it will probably need draining. I am seeing Dr Clark tomorrow. Pics attached.

Yeah it looks like you've got a fair bit of swelling there Damien.  Have you been wearing the compression vest?

It will, of course, go down with time anyway.

Yh that is quite a lot of swelling for 3 days post, has your vest been tight enough? Or is this normal for around this time?

Hey Guy!

I am now finally back in the UK and I am so happy to be back as well! So my swelling had gone down a bit and it does not hurt as much as it used to. I had a reasonable journey back to the UK. A few sharp pains when carrying my luggage but nothing serious. I did wear my compression garment straight after operation for the days ahead but I might have not been tight enough. So I am 10 day pre op I have a few pictures I would like to upload but I want to embed  my pictures like how everyone else are doing it on this forum. How do I do it?

Also, I have notice a great deal of scar tissue forming under my nipple resembling gynae. I think that I will massage it a little but continue to wait until it heals before properly massaging this. Did any of you guys get tissue forming at this stage? I hope it will get better.

Hi Damien,

Glad to hear you're back and the swelling is subsiding.  Don't worry I started to get scar tissue at the same time as you.

It is frustrating but remember it's a long process and it will get better with time.

Thanks Zack! I will upload the pictures this weekend but for now I am going to be tight on the compression vest and wear it for a good 3 weeks. Thanks for your kind support, mate!
