Browsing Torrid racks today after picking up my packages the manager of the outlet asked if I needed help finding anything.
Before I could answer the girls told her, "that's Birdie!".

The manager looked at me and said, "oh, you're Birdie".

I guess I'm fairly well known at Torrid. 🤭
Isn't affirmation simply a wonderful thing? :)

Good morning ☕,

I'm still attending the stuffy day-centre that maintains a 'dress-your-gender' policy.

Having pushed the envelope for many months now I have made progress.

I can now wear T-shirts again (they were not allowed for me because I show too much).
I just started going in wearing T's and nothing has been said.

I'm 100% off the women's rack, but I am keeping things androgynous. They must be finally getting used to me.

Have a great day everyone!
When life gives you curves,

Awesome!!! :)

Tees are great, because you can push a message with them with their logos. Here's a couple that I have in my wardrobe. Maybe you might find them interesting!:

"Moon phase rainbow" V-Neck T-Shirt by secretmagic | Redbubble

"Rainbow Merch - Pride Heartbeat" V-Neck T-Shirt for Sale by RainbowMerch | Redbubble

You can get them in heaps of different styles, scoop neck, fitted etc.

Oh, all my T's are from Torrid. Fitted and scoop necks prevail. 🤭

I finally reached a point that I go to the "unisex/women's" side of t-shirts.

Logos are kinda neat when you have a critter on them where the ears sit at boob level and they are 3 dimensional.

never a word!
EVER!

Band shirts are nice because the lettering usually goes right over them nips for a 3D look.

Coffee first.

It's Friday!
I can't wait for the weekend. 🤗

I'll make chicken tacos and potato salad. 😋

Chinese food whilst out shopping. 😋

What do you have planned?

Interesting day shopping. ???

Saw my friend Megan bra shopping at Torrid, and said our 'hellos'.

As I was checking out at the register the SA's were talking about how Megan told them she has a hard time shopping for tops because they don't fit her in the chest.
They both said, "I wish I had that problem!"
Then one of the SA's looked over it me and said, "Oh, you are probably thinking 'no you don't'", as she looked at my chest. 🤭

Of course I had to have a 'hot flash' whilst shopping there as well, and the SA got a fan out for me. 😬

I picked up a cute top and some pull-on trousers on clearance for $11.00 all together 😉

Ordered a balconette bra for $18.00 on clearance.

  • Nothing is impossible, merely expensive.
On top of my hormones going crazy I just found out I have diabetes.  My A1C was 6.5, which is the threshold.  I also was told my red blood cell count was high and they took me off testosterone.  My nipples are also becoming very sensitive, my body has gone crazy.  I am curious what 2024 holds for me medically and physically.

Testosterone....yuck!

I'm still waiting for my doctor to approve my BC pills. 🤔

Supposed to help with my hot flashes. ☺️

Goodluck with that Birdie.  I hope you get your hot flashes under control.  The doctor put me on testosterone a couple months ago because of constant tiredness.  He took me off a couple of weeks ago and I am starting to feel the tiredness again.   I hope he can do something else to get my energy back.

Birdie,

Had unreal hot flashes for months w a T level
of 52-58. That onset was in 4-6 months.
They ruined a pair of hearing aids.

Went through months of trying phytoestrogens
to no avail. From weakest to strongest
No help. Then I tried a Chinese herb
called Kwao kroa … bingo no more hot flashes
It should be used with caution in women though

Worth a look on your part
Regards, Bob

I have some, and it didn't work for me. My hot flashes still hit at 10am every morning.
A flax seed smoothie does work some, but it just makes them tolerable.
